I booked this hotel fairly late on for a conference that I was attending. The location is reasonably good - about 10 minutes walk from Las Ramblas. The hotel itself is quite small, the facilities limited, with small rooms.

The room I had was about 10ft x 10ft (3m x 3m) with a separate ensuite bathroom. There is a tiny desk and small TV, along with a small wardrobe to hang clothes. The bed was OK, nothing amazing, the pillows were rubbish.

Bizarrely, despite having very few other facilities - coffee making machine etc - there was a mini-bar in the room.

The breakfast buffet was extra cost and not too bad.

The staff at the hotel seem to be friendly enough, although there wasn't much call to interact with them aside from check-in and check-out.

No a four stars at all. Very simple rooms, nothing charming, bathroom poor, shower changes between hot and cold water, TV small with very limied selection of international channels, service basic. Rooftop pool ok. Overall a disappointing experience.

The location is great but the room was tiny for a double. There was no light at all as we were in the centre of hotel which had a tiny window which looked out at air conditioning pipes. Wouldn't use hotel again unless they offered a better room.

What is good about this hotel? - great location, walking distance to La Rambla and many attractions and friendly staff

What is bad? - I do not understand how this hotel is 4-star rated. In the US this hotel will be considered as a motel. The hotel itself is like a closet and the rooms are even smaller. Weak internet connection. Breakfast not included. The staff are nice and friendly but clueless about local attraction and good eating places. Over all I will not stay here again.

To list the positive things about this hotel:
- Friendly staff
- GREAT location (2 minutes walk to Universitas, 10 minutes walk to Catalanya)
- Quiet hotel, we didnt experience any noise from traffic or people.
- Good standard, clean bathrooms and good shower.
- Ok roofterrace with a small (not heated) pool.
- Good price
The negative:
- Bad lightning in the room.
- Extremely hard beds, but at least this made us get up early in the mornings.
- Small room (we got the smallest they have)
- Expensive breakfast, we choose to eat at the local cafees.

Room Tip: Quiet rooms are normally the smallest

We got a good price for 4 nights at this hotel. Half price of many other hotels we checked for this trip. Central location, but we would prefer to stay on the east side of La Rambla and a little bit closer to the beach. Took a taxi to the beach. Cost €10.

Terrace on top quite nice, but the jaccuzi did not work and looked very dirty.

We did not eat breakfast at the hotel. There is a local cerveceria just around the corner and a Starbucks close by as well.

Free Wifi and very good quality.
