“A great value hotel!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 3, 2014

We stayed several nights in this hotel and we were really satisfied. The location is very fine, around ten minutes walk from Sagrada Familia and metro is just around the corner. The room was with terrace, which is really spacey and since we had great weather it was terrific to relax on the sun. The night life is very quiet there but it's easy to get into the city centre or the beach.

I stayed at Hotel Everest for one week and it was great. Hotel Everest is cute and sympathic one. The staff is helpful and very friendly. But please consider there was just one person who spoke English. Except that everything was ok. Gracias !

Room Tip: The rooms with terrace are very good for panoramic view.

Very clean, room with balcony an added bonus. Nice area lots of restaurants and bakeries, no night life but felt very safe. Lovely tree lined streets. Good tube connection. Would have loved to have been able to make a cup of tea in the room with the coffee machine , even had my own tea bags. Would stay there again, October was a lovely time to visit, loads to see in this beautiful city. Open top bus a great way to see all the key places . Zoo worth a visit.

we stayed here the last weekend in September the rooms were lovely and clean and the beds very comfortable ; the staff i found to be very friendly and helpful we were on the 8th floor and the elevator stops on the sixth this was the only downside to staying here as i have difficulty with stairs.. but the staff let me go up in the service elevator to the next floor which was great. The AC was great as it was very hot when were there and the shower was very good all in all worth the money we paid to stay

Hotel starts on 6th floor but there is an elevator, it's clean, close to metro, helpful staff. It's not luxurious like the expensive hotels. It's just a place to sleep and rest after walking all day. Wifi worked great in the room, and a must the AC worked great.

Room Tip: Great value.

I was out of time to find a hotel and this one is all what most review says: simple, great location (walking distance to sagrada familia, and just few minutes to the metro), rooms are bright and clean, good shower, for fews days and if all you need is a place to sleep and take a shower, it is very good, I would reccomend it. Just sad that we had twin beds instead of double :(
Ps: for breakfast there are some nice places just around the corner, an amazing delicatessen with lots of yummy pastries called Pans Granier, give it a go:)

Room Tip: Ask for a quiet room, I'm not sure if they have double beds

The whole hotel was very noisy and it was very difficult to sleep. We stayed there twice during the holiday (unfortunately we had already paid for both times we were staying there.) The first time, we coudn't sleep because the room was next to an air conditioning generator. We complained about this and they said that they would be sure to put us in a different room for the next time we were staying there. When we arrrived the second time, they directed us to the same room. When we said we had been assured that we would be in another room, they said this was the only one available. Then eventually they said there were two other rooms on a different floor but both of them also were close to air conditioning generators. We chose one of them as it seemed to be a bit quieter than the previous one... Only to find out that night that it was next to the machinary that operates the lift - which was louder than the generators and stopped us from sleeping... In addition to all of this, the new room was cheaper than the one that we had booked but they would not refund us the difference in price. One night, after midnight there was also even more noise - we phoned the reception to be told that it was the consierge that was doing something and he would be finished soon. In all, not a hotel to go to if you actually want to sleep while you are there. Also, the staff on reception only speak Spanish. My partner and I speak 7 different languages between us (Spanish not being one of them) and we found that it was very difficult to communicate with the receptionist. All in all unless you speak Spanish and don't intend to sleep at all while you are staying there, I definitely wouldn't recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: We never found a good room while we were staying there. Maybe tell them that you don't want a ro...
