“Good hotel with a lovely rooftop bar”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 21, 2013

We went to H10 Casonova for birthday celebrations. Very friendly hotel reception, good hot and cold buffet breakfast and good size room with good bathroom facilities. Only drawback was the location as you had to get taxis to Le Ramblas, where most of the nightlife was to be found.

I would recommend this hotel. It is in a great location and most places are within walking distance . The rooms are very comfortable and a reasonable size. The selection at the breakfast is excellent with both hot and cold choices. The rooftop bar was closed when we were there but you could still go up and sit on the rooftop terrace. The reception staff were very helpful. The hotel is very near the stop for the airport bus. I would certainly stay in this hotel again.

Just returned from a lovely stay at this hotel. The rooms were spacious, clean and modern with a free safe to use in the wardrobe. We had a nice little balcony too.
The location was great a nice walk in to the centre which wasn't too far with great metro links nearby we didn't get any taxis as we didn't feel the need to. Did use the metro to get to camp nou and sagrada familia and found that to be very easy to travel on. The aerobus stop is 5 mins walk away from the Urgell or Universitat stops, we found this to be very stress-free and only €10 return pp so an inexpensive way to get to and from the airport. It is a very frequent service running every 5-10mins.
The hotel staff were very welcoming and couldn't do enough to help us with anything we needed.
Breakfast was fine nothing amazing but great to set you up for the day with a good selection of food and drinks to choose from.
There is free wifi and a computer you can use free of charge. This was very handy for us as we went to sagrada familia one morning only to find a horrendous queue (we thought it looked 3 hours long as it snaked all the way around the building!) we then returned to the hotel, booked tickets online and printed them there and then for later that day and completely bypassed the queue. I would recommend prebooking tickets for most things as queues do get bad at the popular tourist attractions.

We had a nice time here and were very lucky. We booked a double and on arrival were allocated a twin (no doubles available) .Since this was to be part of our wedding celebrations, we were given one of the honeymoon suites (is there more than one?) which was absolutely fantastic. We didn't eat in so much so can not really comment on the meals. Breakfast was ok and a typical continental breakfast.

Room Tip: Honeymoon suite lots of glass and good layout

Hotel was modern but with very Spartan furnishings. Hardwood floor, and no drawer space in rooms to unpack anything. Very small closet. OK for an overnight stay but no longer. Free WiFi. Excellent and free full breakfast. Very helpful front desk staff. Few towels initially; had to ask for more. Restaurant hours limited, but bar food orders available most of the day.

Room Tip: Noise carries in hallways.

Stayed two days at H10 prior to cruise. Modern, clean and great hotel in convenient location. Walking distance to many nice restaurants , Ramblas, shopping. Sits between two Metro stations.
Very friendly and helpful front desk .

Room Tip: Nice roof deck to have a drink and relax. Pool was closed for the season.
