My partner and I have just returned from a 4 night stay at the Confortel Auditori...i can only sing its praises. I found the hotel by doing some online research and then visited Trip Advisor to hear some reviews... i was not disappointed! Location is great, metro station a stone throw from the hotel, providing accessibility to all the major attractions. The hotel is based in a quiet less commercial/tourist area (hence the great value for money). The hotel room was top class with air conditioning, free mini bar and well stocked bathroom. I would also recommend the bakery across the road from the hotel as well as an excellent chinese restaurant a short distance away!

not one of the hotels even the locals seem to know too much about, they should though, for those who want clean comfortable rooms of a reasonable size, a modern non smoking, hotel with good facilities at a decent price this would be good choice.

The hotel is located in a perfect position, ten minutes using the metro from the centre and not much more to the beaches, plenty of little bars and resturants in the local area, maybe not open to the early hours but who wants to sleep in an area where the night life goes on until the sun rises.

Noted a few adverse comments on the breakfast in other reviews, there seemed a reasonable choice, more continental than full English but if included in the price more than adaquate.

Staff were friendly and helpful, there is a uniformed guard on duty in reception(very friendly guy)all night for those concerned
with security.

A very good hotel and I would not look elswhere when returning to Barca, if you like to share a drink with the locals rather than fight for elbow room with thousands of other visitors in the centre of town then you won't go wrong by staying here.

Confortel Auditori is a 10-15 minute stroll from the centre of Barcelona in a clearly affluent residential street near a main line railway station. If you prefer to stay amongst the tat and pickpockets of Las Ramblas, then it won't be for you. If however, like me, you prefer a air-conditioned spotlessly clean minimalist room with a plasma TV and excellent facilities (small gym, pool, etc) at a affordable price then you can't go wrong with this place. This hotel is about a year old and currently (unbelievably) a 3 star. Given time and inspection it will be a 4 star. Anyone who thought the rooms were small at this hotel clearly aren't used to big city life, and Barcelona is a big city just like London Paris or New York. The rooms were actually neither big or small, but of a comfortable size for two people. And your mini bar will be stocked with free beer, fruit juice and coke every day, what more could you want?

Just returned from a 5 night stay at the Auditori with friends. Our room was clean, quiet, comfortable and well equipped. Hotel staff were pleasant and helpful, and the free computer access in the lobby is an added bonus. Our friends tried the 13 Euro buffet breakfast and gave it just a "so so" rating for the price. There are lots of patisseries and cafe's nearby to try for an inexpensive breakfast. It is about a 10 min. hike to the nearest metro station (Arc de Triomf) and about a 15 min. walk to Placa de Catalunya. All in all we had a great stay and can definitely recommend this hotel.
