We recently spent 4 nights at the Barcelona Center, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Highlights would be the comfortable, quiet rooms with great darkening shades; the fantastic breakfast buffet; great location near the sites but off the main drag; free wifi in the lobby and roof deck access.

Service was generally top notch, especially Jordi, one of the main clerks there. Breakfast included hot entrees, great coffee and many choices.

The roof top deck was lovely, I wish only that the hot tub was a little hotter.

All in all, a great stay at a high quality hotel1

This is a short review but just wanted to say that the location is great location, just 2 blocks from passiag de Graca, beautiful spacious rooms and the staff were very accomodating. We were after a relaxing city break and this hotel was ideal. The free broadband was very handy- bring own laptop

Having never traveled outside US, I did not have any expectations really, (although reading other reviews prepared me for the small size of rooms!), but found this room quite nice! was probably the largest of all rooms stayed at during trip even. The bathroom was downright luxurious compared to others as well! Beds seem to be very hard as a standard everywhere we stayed, and these were no exception. Free internet access was nice bonus. The area is definately quiet at night, a bit away from everything. We took the bus from the airport, as suggested on other reviews, but is was a bit longer of a walk, slightly uphill, than expected. still, not a problem if you like to walk. We used the metro to get around town after that. Walked to Las Ramblas. Thought it was a good value for money, would stay again-
