Everything about the Bonic was positive. The hosts,Fernando and Richard spoke English and were helpful in every way---reoommending things to do, restaurants, drawing maps for us.
The property was immaculate and although we had some reservations about not having an en suite, this was never a problem. The location is first rate, and it was a very enjoyable experience.

We stayed here for 4 nights in September and had a lovely time. It's, very handy to Las Ramblas and the Gothic Quarter (Barri Gòtic), and yet, as very quiet. We had no trouble with outside noise. It's was clean and well presented, with modern, tasteful décor, and very friendly staff. We arrived late on Saturday night and were presented on arrival with a beer. Just what we needed after a long tiring day travelling.

The only slight down side is no on-suite, but as it turned out, this wasn't anywhere near as much of an inconvenience as expected. There was always a free shower and/or toilet, and they were always clean.

Overall, excellent B&B, at a reasonable price.

My 2 teenage children and I stayed at the Bonic in July. It more than lived up to our expectations in every way. It is perfectly located, quiet, beautifully clean, stylish in a simple way, has free internet service and our host went out of his way to be helpful. He recommended excellent restaurants and ensured we had breakfast the morning we had an early start. We needed to change our onward bookings so he rang the two hotels affected in Nerja and Granada as well as rescheduling our prebooked tour of the Alhambra. Nothing was too much trouble.

This B&B excelled over any expectations we could have had! The staff was increadibly friendly...insisting on us relaxing over a drink upon arrival while they informed us about Barcelona sights, restuarants, how to get around and much more. The rooms, common area, eating area and computer office were cozy, well decorated and very clean. The B&B provided daily bed turndown, fresh towels, and a good continental breakfast. Bonic also has the MOST convenient location in Barcelona (2 minute walk to the waterfront and 3 mins to the major street popular for vendors, live statues and great for people watching).
