Fantastic hotel, beyond cool, but very friendly. The staff are excellent, rooms perfect, breakfast & buffet delicious. Why go anywhere else? Trust us, this is the best place to stay, can't wait to come back. Try the pancakes for breakfast, & the gin to round off an amazing night in Barcelona...

This hotel is number 1 on tripadvisor for many reasons. It honestly lived up to all the hype. We stayed in another hotel (Amalfi) which was rated number 1 which was very disappointing.

Its at the top of La Ramblas and a taxi won't be able to drop you near the hotel, so you do have to carry your bags about 2 blocks. No big deal, just good to know.

When you get there, you will see how great the service and staff are. You will get personally shown to your room (which is actually 2 rooms) where it has a hammock and also the main room has a beautiful indoor garden that you get to look into. Peaceful would be the right word.

Anywhere you want to go they can help you with, they have bikes which you can use if you like, and if you haven't read already, a 24 hour snack bar. Come down at anytime of the evening for something to eat or drink. Its all free.

If coming to Barcelona, stay here and you will not be disappointed. Its in a great location to eat at authentic Spanish (or modern) restaurants at great prices. Had some of the best Sangria we have ever had near the museum of modern art.

Will stay here again for sure. Other hotel chains should look at this concept.

This place was fantastic!

I have stayed at many places during my travels, and this one is up there as one of the best!

From the moment you arrive, it’s clear this place is not your normal run of the mill hotel. Instead, it is artistically decorated and modern. Everything has been meticulously placed, right down to the tower of pot plants, which can be viewed from your bathroom window –truly remarkable! We took pictures all week long around the hotel as inspiration for back home!

The staff are genuinely friendly and laid back, and give you a relaxed feeling that you so want when on holidays! The kitchen serves a top notch breakfast, and a 24 hour food and beverage service. At any time you can go to the kitchen and take some food to have in the dining room or back in your room!

We can't wait to come back!

Stayed 5 days Jan 16 to 21 just for touristic purpose. Nice, quite and central location.
Staff is extremely friendly and try their best to help and serve you for your all kind of requests.
When rains your umbrella is ready. Not rain your bicycle is ready. Ask for any info for dinner,
concerts, places to go and be sure that you will get the perfect response (special thanks to Wim).
Looks like a little bit pricy but by considering 24 hour open buffet, three kind of wrap (crab, turkey,
cheese or frankfurter) 3 different sweets, various salads, soup, coffee, tea, fruits, cookies, etc.
you may not pay for lunch or dinner it is not expensive.
Large suite rooms (only disadvantage is separated by corridor) and very practical amenities in the
bedroom and suite room with hammock. LCD TV in both rooms.
In short do not look any other hotel to stay and leave yourselves to Casa Camper's friendly staff
if you want to spend an excellent stay in Barcelona.
Please write me for any additional info for hotel and Barcelona.

While the rooms had a very odd layout with the lounge area located across the hall, we felt quite at home and comfortable during our stay at Casa Camper. Room was modern, spacious, very clean and with nice details for guests. Room was a bit too warm and AC was not functioning as we'd hope for (maybe because we went in December) but we solved the issue by opening a window. Breakfast is served daily in a bed and breakfast type of manner - you walk up to the kitchen window and tell them what you'd like. To add to this, snacks and drinks were available for guests at all times in the self serve area which was very convenient. Location was also perfect. Close to Las Ramblas and to the metro. Staff was great too! Very friendly and polite. Highly recommend this hotel!

I chose this hotel as all my guidebooks and the Sunday Times Travel mad recommended it e.g the tiny Luxe guide which I love. As everyone else has said the staff do make this hotel and we marvelled at what a difference that can make to staying in anonymous 5 star hotels on business. The taxi driver from the airport didn't know the hotel but when presented with the address he found it and we drove down a walk only street so it's great when you go out for a walk as loads of bars and cafes before you get the Ramblas even though it's only a few minutes walk. loved the location although we did spend all our time walking elsewhere e.g. to Placa St.Maria, Barcoloneta or Passeig de Gracia we wandered around for hours on end stopping for tapas and drinks along the way. The welcome at CCamper was fantastic and it was nice to sit and have a drink and snack while they checked us in after a long journey. The rooms are spacious and a novel design, I bet architects love staying here as it's so different e.g the industrial construction outside with 100s of pot plants for your view rather than a brick wall. The breakfast was fab every day perfectly poached eggs and cremated bacon which tasted ok surprisingly and delicious mushrooms. The room is well thought out hairdryer and safe provided and shampoo, soap and conditioner in dispensers. Other showers woke us up in the morning but apart from that it was quiet the air con was annoying so we jst opened the toilet window round the corner after the shower and the room stayed a nice temperature. The second day was my birthday and they brought me a little cake with a candle on at bfast which was nice and every member of staff said 'happy birthday' which was jst amazing. All in all a fab hotel in a great location so nice to be tucked down a street I've never noticed before on a few previous trips to Barcelona. Thankyou Casa Camper for making our stay so nice.

Room Tip: I think all the rooms would be the same. I think 2nd or 3rd floor is good as you don't mind usin...
