“Very clean, utilitarian and functional well located hotel in Barcelona”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 4, 2012

This is a very modern hotel with an emphasis on functionality for the traveller. It is very well located for touring Barcelona. We also appreciated there 24 hour complimentary snacks, sandwiches and soft drinks as well as complimentary hot full breakfast. We found the set up of the rooms, with a bedroom and bath on one side of the the hall, and a lounge for each room accessible by key card, on the other, unusual. We did not use the lounge at all, but we were a couple travelling. Families woukd probably get more use out of the separate space. As has been mentioned, the staff are incredibly pleasant and helpful. We really liked this unusual hotel and woukd definitely stay again.

All of the other rave reviews are justified. From its great location- a 3 minute walk to La Ramblas, to the always cheerful and helpful staff.

I found Casa Camper on Trip Advisor and it was the best choice we could have made. Fresh from 14 days on a ship, we were looking forward to spending three extra days in barcelona. We are walkers and wanted to be close to the principal sights, but not in a noisy environment. Casa Camper is on a small street, about three hundred feet from the MACBA (Museum of Modern Art) and less than three minutes walking to La Ramblas-the boulevard/"boardwalk-like" street that runs for more than a mile down to the waterfront.

The bedroom is adequate in size because your total accommodation includes a small sitting room directly across the hall. It has a large sofa, a hammock suspended between the walls , another flat screen TV and a small desk and chair.

The shower was something special-roomy, with an overhead "rain" shower head and with a bidet extension as well as a hand-held shower appliance. The overhead rain shower was marvelous.
There were two wall mounted reading lights-the kind that you can maneuver so that it is in the right position for you and will not disturb your bed partner.

There were robes and slippers, great sheet towels, large supplies of soaps shampoos and conditioners, not the tiny tube or bottle variety.

The price of the room includes more food than you can imagine. First, you can get a cooked to order breakfast served on a white tablecloth covered table in the lobby. The chef is the most cheerful person I've ever seen doing what she does at that hour of the morning. If you don;t want a cooked breakfast, there are choices of breads , hams, cheeses, pastries, juices, etc., etc.

If that isn't enough or if you get down too late for the cooked breakfast, there is a case with freshly made sandwiches and salads.

Fruit juices, sodas and tea and coffee available all day.

All of this for about 200 Euros a night.

Can't beat it.

Five-star from A-Z. The staff were all very helpful and friendly and I mean everyone! We had a suite with three rooms, sitting area with their signature hammock (that my wife loved), a bedroom with very comfortable bed and nice big bathroom that looks out onto courtyard with wonderful six story atrium. You need to see it to describe it correctly. Modern decor and lots of room. Breakfast was included and they had snack area for most other times of the day. Everything was no extra cost! They also had a sixth floor terrace sitting area that we took advantage of regularly on our four day stay. There is nothing we didn't like about this hotel, we would stay again and again.

Have to totally agree with all the fabulous reviews that make this hotel #1....that is why we chose it and we were not dissapointed. From the minute we checked in til they called us a cab to take us to the ship we enjoyed our stay .I researched and read the reviews however I have to say it was beyound what we expected. It was fun having the extra room with the hamoock. We espeicaly loved the decor and the cool pictures in the lobby that make it look like you are "there"
The location is FABULOUS. We loved that it was on a small side street that made us feel like we really lived there however very close to everything. My favorite was the "wall of plants" outside the window that is really the coolest thing I have ever seen!!! Good job!!!!!!!!!
Only thing I wish i could have changed was that we could have stayed one more day!!!!

This was the last stop on our Spain journey and it was our favorite/best experience. The hotel is really cute and in SUCH a good location. It's right in between the Rival and the Museum of Modern Art. We stayed in the junior suite, meaning it wasn't 'split' like most of the rooms. We loved our room. It was big and clean and had a cute little balcony that overlooked the alley. The staff was friendly and helpful. We loved that they had snacks and drinks that you could pick up at any time of the day. That was a plus, for sure. The rooftop deck was great and had an incredible view of the city. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed while we were there, but that was no big deal given how many food options there are in Barcelona. An incredible experience. We would highly recommend it and would stay again...

If you're driving in this may not be the best choice as its fairly deep into the ramblas, but once you get settled in its a great Hotel that is very centrally located. decor is spartan but has everything you could possible need. Regular rooms have both a lounge room and bedroom separated by a hallway, while suites are all in one. Each room comes with a hammock and a lot of hooks. Free snacks 24/7 but breakfast was at best mediocre. All of the staff were super helpful and the roof terrace (which we had all to ourselves most times) has one of the best views of the city I have ever seen. I am looking forward to staying here again but this time with the kids.

A beautiful, stylish and sparklingly clean hotel in El Raval neighborhood of Barcelona.
Staff were the best, so friendly and courteous as well as incredibly informative about their beautiful city. The hotel was very stylish and yet informal, we felt very comfortable and welcomed there.
They offer a great breakfast every morning and also fantastic/yummy/healthy snacks (including soft drinks, great salads, sandwhiches, cheeses, granola bars, nuts etc) )available 24/7!!
This hotel really just can't be beat!!
Did I say the staff were fantastic? I'll say it again because they were! Many thanks!
