Excellent cakes and churros. Staff were very friendly. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area and want something sweet.

“A lovely find”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2013 via mobile

It's a very short walk from Sagrada Famillia, and well worth it. Light and airy, with friendly staff. The menu is varied, with the creeps being my particular favourite.

“I love this little place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 16, 2013

I am currently doing a semester abroad, and my roommates and I live right next to Sagrada Familia. That said, Gaudi Bakery has become my go-to stop for breakfast, lunch, brunch, and snacks. Up until this point, I've tried: a) their rustic chicken sandwich b) the iberic ham on viena bread sandwich c) rasberry cake d) a brownie e) the classic Spanish cafe con leche. Everything I've had there has been delicious AND reasonably priced! I've found that combination to be pretty rare in Europe so I'm thrilled that this place is right around the corner from me. One other random note of praise- There is a sandwich shop in Barcelona (on La Rambla) called Viena that has an iberic ham sandwich that was supposedly raved about by the New York Times- I've had it and it's good. But Gaudi Bakery makes one that is even BETTER. So by all means order it if you are a carnivore.

“Fun little bakery near Sagrada Familia”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 14, 2013

We popped in here for a light lunch after visiting the nearby Sagrada Familia. Was an enjoyable experience, with lovely food (the chocolate and banana crepe was delicious, as was the sangria). There is also a dragon fountain out back modelled on the Gaudi original at Park Guell. Definitely worth a look.

“Best coffee in Barcelona”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 13, 2013 via mobile

We stumbled on to this refreshingly light and open cafe bakery after visiting the Sagrada Familia which is within a 200 metre stroll. What a lucky find. The best coffee with have had in Barcelona and a slice of one of the most beautiful cakes we have had anywhere in the world. The young fellow who served us was very friendly and attentive too.
