My fiancé and I heard of the restaurant from a mutual friend of the owners, who are both involved with Slow Food. We showed up late, after they had already closed for lunch, but they happily took us anyway and we enjoyed an incredible meal, knowledgable friendly service that made you feel as if you were in your own kitchen. We sampled through the menu and could have kept eating as everything brought to us was gone within moments, each dish so well thought out and unique, combining traditional Spanish cuisine with international twists. The beers were paired beautifully to each plate, and we were two over the top satisfied meat eaters when we walked out the door. I brought my mother back a few weeks later for dinner... and again, we were blown away. We ordered three dishes and each one was very different, and we kept marveling at the fact that with each unique combination on the plate, you could taste every one of the ingredients individually, and at the same time, the marriage on your palate was perfectly combined.
I will absolutely recommend this restaurant to everyone I know that visits Barcelona, carnivores, vegans and vegetarians alike!! Another high point, not yet full of annoying tourists :)
