“Great food, but way too expensive”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 5, 2014

The wine list is amazing, the service impeccable and the food is simply amazing, but it is definitely not worth its price. 50 € per person for a lunch without dessert is not reasonable, taking into account that in the neighborhood it is possible to find amazing places with a better quality-price relation.

“Very Pricey”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed December 2, 2013

We stayed locally and walked past. Looked inviting. The menu was small and we went with a few recommendations. We fell for the prawn sting £28 for 6 prawns. Our bill come to over £100 ridiculous. Wine and food average apart from pork. Be careful.

“Nice but pricey”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 11, 2013

Had a lovely meal there. recently. each dish was well presented and delicious. Service was very good - friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. Very good atmosphere BUT dishes were very small for the price. We left contented but felt the overall experience was disappointing due to the high price .

“Excellent”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 15, 2013

We happened to pass by this place and glad we stopped for dinner. It's not a large place with maybe 4 tables outside (for 8 people) and a few more inside but I think that is what makes this place even more special. The food was outstanding. The menu is not large and it looks to change often. The options were varied and it was nice to see a few vegetarian options after being surrounded by meat. We had sauteed mushrooms which were cooked just right in a great tasty sauce. The mussels were done perfectly - again in a nice sauce. We had some bread. I noticed that the couple sitting next to us asked if a cheese plate could be put together and the staff were happy to oblige. And dessert....well, all I can say - yum. The portions are a bit larger than other restaurants which made sharing the "tapas" easy and we were quickly satisfied. The staff suggested the wines (a red for me and a white for my friend) and they were great - so much so that I asked for the name of the wine - which our server was happy to write down for me. The staff were attentive and added a nice level of charm to an already great place. I was traveling through Spain and Lisbon for two weeks and this was one of the first dinners I had on my trip and it remains the most delicious - and therefore the most memorable.

“Found by accident and very impressed”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 9, 2013

Was walking through the neighbourhood and wanted a light dinner while sitting outside. Other than the smoker a few feet away, my monkfish with squid was excellent. Not an overly large portion, but delicate fish with amazing sauce. Accompanied by a glass of Temperanillo, I was very satisfied. Service was friendly and unhurried.
