We stumbled across this bar on one of our first nights in Barcelona and ended up coming back twice more during our stay. The tapas was freshly made and of excellent quality. We particularly liked the tostas with different sorts of pickled or marinated fish - the cod and the anchovies were a highlight. They serve a good range of beer: varieties of Moritz are the house speciality.
The bar itself is clean and modern with an outside terrace (admittedly on a not very exciting-looking street). It is just a couple of minutes walk from Parallel and close to a number of other bars and restaurants.
The service was excellent - we had the same waitress each time we were there, who was happy to recommend dishes and beers, and was happy to go along with my not-very-good Spanish!
If you are staying in Poble Sec, this bar is definitely worth a visit.
