“Great little hostel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 27, 2014

We just got back from our stay here for 4 days.
The room was spotless and the service was great. As it was my first time in a hostel i guess i was expecting something completely different, however this has really exceeded my expectations. Our room was clean and airy, however the only downside is that we had 2 twin beds rather than a double, which is something that you can potentially ask the hotel about in advance. The thing which made our trip even better were the staff. Thank you ever so much to Jorge for his kindness and for going over and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, despite the language barrier he helped us a lot. This is only a 15 minute walk from La Rambla, there a 2 metro stops very close by called Tetuan and Monumental which is about a 7-10 minute walk and will get you to sagrada familia and other attractions very easily.
Lovly place for a short break in Barcelona.

Room Tip: Choose a balcony room, Nice place to relax and people watch

2 of 5 stars Reviewed July 17, 2014

We staid there in October 2013. Frankly we chose this hotel based on the reviews read on the internet, but were very dissapointed upon arrival. The room was clean and new but tiny, as you entered the room there was the bed and that's it. The walls were very thin and you could hear the romantic activities of over guests. The location of the hotel was ok, close to the metro station. Also what bothered was the absence of a closet, no chests no shelves, lived with all clothes in the suitcase for the entire stay. I doubt that we will ever return...

We stayed here for 4 nights in May/June. The location is great, only a 10-15 min walk from Placa de Catalunya where you can catch the express bus to the airport (Aerobus) and which also connects with La Rambla. We also walked to the Sagrada Familia in about 10 mins, and the train station (Estacio de Franca) in about 20 mins. The staff were very helpful and friendly and provide you with a detailed city map on arrival. The room was comfortable, spacious and cleaned daily. Good shower! Hair dryer available but not already in the room. There wasn't a safe in the room, we didn't ask if they had one available though as we felt our personal belongings were safe and secure in the room. Free and easy to access WiFi! They also offer free luggage storage. It is worth noting that this is more of a hostel/guest house and therefore doesn't offer breakfast facilities. However, if the main purpose of your trip is to spend more time exploring and enjoying the city, then this offers an ideal place to crash. Overall we were delighted with the service and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Room Tip: We stayed in room 2, very spacious with a terrace.

I stayed 4 days in May/2014. The location is excelent, you may go walking to A Sagrada Familia and has two metro station pretty close. The room is small but nice with private bathroom. The front door people are very friendly and give you all information you need, I do recommend !

Room Tip: Room with balcon.

It was more than our expected. The location is very good, just next to the main road (not too noisy) and you can walk about 10-15 mins to town and main shopping street. The reception was very friendly. We had room number 6 and it was very clean. The room itself is not too small and I think it's cool for the price you paid. They also provide you a computer, microwave and some cutlery in the living room where you can use whenever you want. We stayed here for 2 nights which is too short! I suggests you to stay about 5 nights if you want to discover the amazing Barcelona in this great value hotel. We are looking forward to going back!

This lovely hotel was very clean and the staff is superfriendly. He showed us the highlights of Barcelona on a map and helped us with questions. The room was big enough, as was the bathroom. We did not get the room with the big balcony but that was a minor issue. There is wifi, tv and the rooms are cleaned each day.

The hostel is situated near Tetuan metro station on metro line 2 and is 15mins walking from Saggrada Familia church. It is also 15-20 mins walking from Rabla de Catalunya. The rooms are very clean, newly renovated and nice. The only thing is that they donot provide any beach towels.

Completely recommended!!!
