“Another Fabulous Gaudi Creation!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 11, 2014

Amazingly gorgeous....we luckily arrived about 6 pm, so had enough time to view before closing, and not many tourists.
Gaudi was so amazing, and as one of his early works you can see the difference from his later more fantastical creations. It definitely felt like I was visiting an amazing palace from another time and could imagine how wonderful it would have been to live here for a fleeting time in history!

“Whoa! Awesome”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 11, 2014

No ticket sales online and we just walked right up to buy ours. 12 euro per person and much less expensive that La Padrera and Casa Batilo. The roof is famous but we enjoyed the inside just as much. Fantastic audio guide. Definitely do this in Barça!

“Incredible”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 11, 2014

You have to see it to believe it. Its beautiful and just something unique. You also get great views over the city. Only down side is the access, you have to walk for a while since there is no metro station near by and this can be hard on the summer time, we caught 43°c . But its worth the effort

“Barcelona's Ornate House”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 11, 2014

This was one of Gaudi's first major designs at the start of his career. If you go to see other Gaudi buildings during your stay such as casa batllo or the Sagrida Familia it is interesting to see just how much his style developed while retaining some core features.

This is a great self guided tour. The house is located just off Las Rambles and is well worth the €12 entrance and the 2 hours required to see the full house.

The tour is well designed and keeps the listener engaged throughout. Like all of gaudi's works the building is meticulously designed - from the domineering facade to the ornate metal work on the banisters of the stairs every single element of the house is crafted in detail.

This attraction is well worth a go especially if you enjoyed the other Gaudi buildings. Overall, well worth a trip and ideally located!
