“Awesome”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 31, 2012 via mobile

This is one of Gaudi's early houses, but it is spectacular. It is artistic and functional at the same time. The price of admission is also better than others of his design so this should be high on your list.

“Wonderful”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 30, 2012

Visited with my mother and we were astounded by the house and the exquisite decor, and the audio guides were really good too which i normally wouldnt bother with!

Only downside is amount of school tours as the children were very keen to get past us on very narrow steps and being very pushy!

“The Palau is not to miss!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 30, 2012

It never stops surprising me how Gaudi could be so broad-minded, imaginative and creative to picture and to build all-in-one buildings or rather homes! This Palau is an excellent example of how Gaudi incorporated space, natural light and air with architecture, structures and use of different materials (wood, glass, iron etc)! And it's amazing how the design doesn't confront with the functionality of the home! From the practical basement through the charming living rooms to the ornamental and functional roof-top - the building is just a gem!
Audiotour is very helpful, informative and interesting. The Palau is just off La Rambla.

“A must see if you love Gaudi's work”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 28, 2012

Palau Guell was Gaudi's first major work and it's amazing, the detail level the richness takes about an hour to look at the house, but it is really worth it!
