Hotel Comercio is in a nice central location. There were three of us in a room which was adequate but nothing special. Towels were changed regularly (though one time they weren't clean!) and staff were polite enough.
Noise can be a problem in the afternoon when people blast music from their balconies or from another room which is infuriating, particularly when you're trying to have a rest from the morning's events. Our balcony overlooked a side-street which was sometimes rife with drug-dealers and people urinating. Not the most pleasant of sights, but it was better view than what some of our mates had in their rooms. In fact, our three-bedroomed place was far superior to any others we saw. Our bathroom and bedroom were very spacious in comparrison.
Breakfast isn't bad - cereale, croissants, orange juice, etc. are on offer which usually fills you up for the morning. Barcelona is an exciting city so (unless you're anti-social) you won't spend much time in your apartment anyway.
Overall, nothing special but a good central location. Ideal for those on a budget.
