Here are the pros: 1. the price (we paid under €200 for 2 people, 3 nights). 2. the location (2 minute walk to the metro station, lots of cafes and grocery shops open during the day). 3. it was clean (the room is cleaned and towels are changed daily) 4. "internet corner" (computer station open 24 hrs/day, €1/30 minutes) 5. it's not a hostel! (it's a small pension-like hotel; individual rooms w/private bathrooms)
Here are the cons: 1. NOISY (not from the street or other guests, the noise was caused by the staff. our room was right by the reception so that might've made a difference, but as this hotel is very small I imagine the noise carried. staff arrives at about 8 am and begin to talk loudly, play radio/tv and this continues until about 8/9 pm. no noise at night, but not fun when you want to sleep in after a night out or have a siesta before a night out) 2. the area can be a bit dodgy late at night (kinda secluded, but not scary)
Overall, I'm happy with the choice we made. For what we got, it was an amazing deal. Oh, our room also had lots of storage and 2 free water bottles waiting for us when we arrived.
Other: staff don't speak English (only a problem for some), hairdryer available upon request from the desk.
