We booked a last minute reservation for two on a Tuesday evening but had to eat fairly quickly as we had to go to the airport for our flight back.
It is very informal, but has a charming romantic feel; great for relaxing with friends or with a partner. They have lovely finishings with many types of alcohol bottles lining the wall and decorative bar area. It is quite small, giving a more intimate feel. The did however play Christmas music (in March?) for the first half an hour we were there, but I think they might have not noticed being in English.
There are kind messages of luck for their future written in crayon on the back walls, which is cute and informal, but not classy exactly.
The service was brilliant; we couldn't have asked for better. The Argentinian lady who served us was brilliant- she really tried with her English and spoke it well, also providing us an English alternative menu on an Ipad- very cool!! They were helpful when we explained our speedy need to get to the airport and the food was served, hot, well presented and fairly quickly. She even helped out by calling a taxi and letting the driver know where and when we needed to go, very helpful! She was friendly but not over bearing. They have the balance just right.
Having never eaten at an Argentinian restraunt before we were a bit apprehensive, so played it safe with the breaded veal and the mi gracia pasta. Both were very nice, but my pasta had too much garlic, but the veal was good. I think it was our own individual tastes though as there was plenty on the menu to choose. If I was to go back I'd like to try the empanadas as they seem well rated.
Overall I think the food was okay, but the service is the real winner here.
