Bikini is said to be Barcelona's oldest club, which I would say that I believe. In some ways, this club is showing it's age, but in others it just adds character.
It is divided into two main rooms: the main room, which plays your average house technoy mix of music, good if you like that kind of thing, but the atmosphere isn't great; and the salsa room.
I personally love the salsa room, simply because it is so different from anything I've ever experienced. People actually dance, in pairs, and guys come up to you and say, 'quieres bailar?' However, the charm suddenly disappears when they realise that you can't dance salsa: some teach you, others walk off.
For a club, it's fairly pricey, at 15E with two included drinks, and other drinks are expensive, with a vodka and lemonade costing around 9E. The Mojitos, however, are great, if rather strong.
My main problem with Bikini, however, is the fact that due to it's location on DIagonal, it is difficult to go somewhere else once you're bored, and you would need to pay for a taxi or Metro from Maria Christina metro station, rather than walk.
I would recommend Bikini, simply because it is Barcelona in club form: localised, expensive, music driven, and there are semi-naked girls (and the odd guy) dancing on the bar.
