Near Montjuic, the Spanish Village represents the various regions of Spain as represented in both great restaurants and craft shops. Need to spend at least two hours here to appreciate it. The main plaza, Plaza Mayor, is your main point of entry and is flanked by many restaurants. Obtain the optional headphones for a self-guided tour. The architecture represents copies of various buildings located throughout Spain. At 40,000 square meters, it is four times the size of the Olympic stadium and is one of the largest outdoor museums in Europe. A few steps and a slight hill involves some walking, but not that hard to do (we are in our late sixties and did it all with no problem).
