“fantastic pre xmas weekend!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 12, 2012

Fab location. Fab reception. Rooms basic but very clean. Sheets and towels ch daily. The location could not be better, out of the door directly onto ramblas or turn left and walk 5 mins to marina and along another 10 to great beach. Foodie places of all prices all around this hotel. Breakfast continental, but great choice of cereals, croissant, jams, cakes and teas and coffees etc.....fantastic all round.

This is a great little hotel and i would definately recommend it to someone travelling to Barcelona. Location is perfect, front door opens onto the ramblas - to the right is the hustle and bustle and to the left is the marina, couldn't ask for more!
Staff were very nice and helpful during our stay - we were able to store our bags for the whole afternoon our last day there free of charge which was great.
we didnt have breakfast or eat in the hotel.
Room was great. standard but very clean and had comfortable beds. I wasn't woken once from noise from the ramblas and we had a balcony that overlooked it! This was amazing! the atmosphere when standing on the little balcony was great!
Ideal location for anyone in 20s-30s travelling in a couple or with friends when visiting Barcelona!

Room Tip: get a room on the 3+ floor with a balcony onto the ramblas! Great view and great atmosphere!

Great (realy) price (70euro/night) and place.
Average smoked but clean rooms.
Ask a balcony to Rambla.
But breakfast... :( Bad coffee, bad cruasans. Yupi, not juices. If U like a tea, it's no problem for You. :)
But good staff, good room cleaning.

Staying at Hotel cuatro Naciones made our stay in Barcelona very enjoyable. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming as soon as we came through the doors. You can tell it's a family run hotel, very trustworthy. We had asked for a balcony and loved it: Looking over the Rambla made us feel part of the city's vibrant energy. It's close to absolutely everything and it's a beautiful building. Breakfast is simple but very sufficient. We would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the city and will be stay there wenever we're back in Barcelona.

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights this summer. We came by ferry and I am glad to say got a taxi rather than walked - it is some distance away. The hotel itself is right on La Ramblas, which is the main strip in Barcelona. There are plenty of shops and restaurants to go to right around the hotel. The staff was extremely helpful and very friendly. The room was mostly clean, but there was a little sand on the floor, which I think is to be expected in Barcelona during the summer! The hotel offers free wifi, but our room was located so far in the back that I had to go out into the hall to actually pick it up.

I will definitely stay at Hotel Cuatro Naciones if I go back to Barcelona. It was a great hotel and an amazing price for the location.

The hotel has a perfect location at the Rambla, although this makes it a bit noisy. But it is close to many attractions and easy to get to. The personnel is very nice, and the breakfast as ok. The room we stayed in was pretty big, with everything we needed.
