If you've had enough of tapas and after 8 days my wife and I had you simply have to try this place. From the outside its not the most inviting place. Two tiny viewing windows almost like portholes to see inside and ringing a bell to enter its not something you'd expect, so make the effort!
We chose the set meal for two sumiyaki which was amazing and superb value. Udon noodles were nice but save some for the main 'soup dish' later added to the hot sauce - even better. Teriyaki rice dish was very good. Served with patatas bravas was a little odd but when in barca you must eat tapas ;-).
The main course of BBQ meats you do cook yourself was excellent especially the beef selection very good quality and complimentary dipping sauces were perfect.
For deserts we had green tea ice cream - totally authenic and a mascaponi style Brullee - absolutely to die for.
Beer served in ice chilled glasses does cool down what is a hot table but don't let any of that put you off.
Our waiter was excellent his English far better than our Spanish and he could not do enough to be helpful in what turned out to be be a packed restaurant and very busy by 11pm.
We had walked past this place twice as it does appear 'empty' early evening. Don't miss it out though it's the best place off las ramblas. Our only regret we left it until the last night to visit or else we'd have been back a few times.
