The park is not in the center, you should take the metro line 3 or bus 24 from catalunya square. Over more, is better to book the ticket in advance in order to avoid the line. As there is a limit of visitors for hour, i recomend you to prebook.

This is another one-of-a-kind outstanding Gaudi' design with incredible open space that is simply an 'art form'. Even if there is a line to get in, it is well worth the wait. And while waiting, take a walk around the other parts of the part that do not require a ticket. This is a beautiful setting with wonderful views of Barcelona. Hint: buy your tickets on line and save a lot of time.

Nice hotel at the top of the hill with a rooftop pool.rooms are spacious clean and with excellent room service.the hotel is close to bus stop with easy accessibility to the city. You can easily reach city in 20 minutes and the beach in approx 1 hour. Overall experience was very good. the only drawback is that you have to hire a taxi to reach the place.

Nice enough park but the main attractions are fenced off and you have to pay and queue for hours :( Gaudi's house is ok but nothing special. The little houses at the entrance are cool tho. The park under the castle is better imho.

Rooms are noisy and outdated. Wouldn't hurt some TLC. The location is not that bad considering that you have access to public transportation within a 5 minute walk. No easy parking around so if you are renting a car have this in mind.

This hotel is great value for money and for the most part was as we expected. It is a five minute walk from the metro or if you prefer, a cab was about 13euros from the centre of town. I think the 3* rating was fair and overall we enjoyed our stay.

Firstly I want to say that the staff service was brilliant. They were all very welcoming and helpful no matter what the time was. As a group of three girls, we were a little disappointed not to have a mirror in our bedroom. We asked at reception and they provided us with a full length, huge mirror that was expertly secured to the wall. The staff on reception also gave us a restaurant recommendation and thanks to them, we had an absolutely fantastic meal on our last night. Nothing was too much trouble.

We had a room with three single beds. It was a small room but I think that is to be expected. I don't think the room would have been as cramped with one double bed. The walls are a little thin and we could hear the neighbours on occasion. I am a heavy sleeper so it didn't bother me but I would advise any light sleepers to bring ear plugs. However, the rooms were cleaned every day and while it would have been nice to have a fridge in the room too, all our other needs were met.

The pool area was also pleasant. It wasn't a huge pool but it was just what was needed on a very hot day in August. There were plenty of sunbeds so there was no need to arrive at the pool area super early although we did every morning. The only downside is the pool area didn't open until 10am and on some hot mornings, it would have been nice to go up a little earlier. You were also not allowed to take any food from the snack bar up to the pool which was a shame.

We were disappointed with the snack bar. As the hotel is situated a little far out of the main town, you have to walk to find another restaurant/cafe for lunch. We would have been very happy if we could have eaten our food at the pool and if the food was of a higher standard. On our first visit, we all ordered club sandwiches which were lovely although a little pricey. We also enjoyed a few well made gin and tonics. On this occasion, we were happy with both the food and the service.

On another evening, we went to have dinner at the bar and the food was incredibly disappointing. I ordered the spaghetti bolognaise. The spaghetti was not cooked fresh and I expect the bolognaise sauce came out of a tin. My two friends ordered burgers. One ordered the chicken burger with guacamole and cheese. When the burger arrived, it was minus the guacamole and cheese and came with five "deluxe" chips. When we complained to the waitress, she explained that the cheese and the guacamoli was mixed up in the burger patti. My other friend ordered the burger that came with onion rings. The plate also came with five chips and no onion rings. To say we felt misled was an understatement. After this event, we didn't go back to the snack bar again.

Overall, we did enjoy our stay. While I would not recommend the food, the rest of the hotel is pleasant, clean and of good value for money. The main town and port is easily accessible and on the weekends the metro runs for 24 hours. If you are looking for value for money and a friendly atmosphere, I would recommend this hotel.
