After trying tapas at Ciudad Comdal the first night in Barcelona, I was looking for another restaurant that would top it or at least equally good and we came across Cachitos.
The restaurant was literally around the corner from our hotel (Eurostars Cristal Palace) and we had our table outside on an island in the middle of the road. Service was good, food was excellent. Had Iberian ham (one of my must-have list) and it was better than expected, although a bit pricey. We also had tuna tartare and beef tartare among others. All dishes were from very good to excellent. The best of all, to me, was the bread with tomatoes. It tasted like fried than baked, crunchy and not filling. definitely one of the best "bread" I ever had. The home-made ice cream was, well, tasted home-made.
Definitely pricier than Cuidad Camdal but a good relaxing place to go for dinner after a long day visiting places around the city.
