“Great value”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 22, 2009

Great boutique hotel. The location is ideal, not right in the centre of the action but not too far away either and the hotel is in a very safe residential area. We walked to most places on foot and when we were in a hurry we took a taxi which never amounted to more than 5 Euros. The rooms are very clean and modern. My favourite part of the hotel was the roof-top pool which was great to unwind after a day on your feet. Recommended by other reviewers on TA, we went to the restaurant La Rita - delicious food and excellent value but they do fill up out so make sure to make a reservation (you are given an option of 2 sittings). We took the metro from Girona station, around the corner from the hotel, to Park Guell and airport and it was very easy (you can buy 10 trips on the one ticket very cheaply and several people can use the one ticket). Most of the staff were very helpful although on the last day did come across a grumpy staff member at the front desk. Overall thought the hotel was very good value and would definitely stay there again.

Hotel was in a great location, just 15 minute walk from La Ramblas. We had a balcony as requested however it faced the main road which was very noisy at night with motobikes and ambulances flying up and down. Mini bar was fully stocked and reasonably priced for Barcelona. Towels were changed daily and room was spotless and could not fault it. Booked welcome gift via Expedia but this was not recieved. Buffet breakfast is charged approx £30 for two breakfasts (very expensive) the food was cold even though it was supposed to be hot... The roof terrace with pool was fantastic overlooking the city and again very clean and well maintained.

Had a great stay. Location was excellent near Passeig De Gracia. For the most part, front desk staff was friendly and helpful. They especially appreciated it when we spoke in Spanish.
Clean, chic, had adjoining rooms with my friend and her baby which was perfect. Only thing missing - they NEED A GYM!! Then it will be truly competitive with similiar properties in that area.

Clean rooms, beautiful decor and good service. A 10 minute walk to Plaza Espagna, the Ramblas and the Gotic Quarter, 1minute to the nearest metro stop. The reception staff were very curteous and always helped with directions and taxi. Housekeeping was excellent.

We skipped the hotel's breakfast and went to Moll Vell bakery chain ( there's one a block or two to the right upon exiting the hotel) where breakfast shouldn't cost more than €5 tops, per person.

This is a small clean hotel located to a walking distance of Sagrada Familia, La Pedrera etc. Funny enough, there is a nice and clean market close by (50 mts) coming out to your right where you can meet the real Simpsons’s Moe. He is a lookalike who owns a coffee bar on the ground floor.

Great hotel - modern, clean, and recently renovated. Great location for exploring Barcelona (5-10 min walk to Passeig de Gracia, 10-15 min walk to La Rambla, close to the metro for other sights). It is located on a busy street in a nice, quiet, safe residential area (L'Eixample). It is a bit of a walk to La Rambla, so if you like to be in the heart of the action, I would stay on La Rambla. If you're like me (i.e., actually like the option of leaving the party), this is a great hotel and a great location.
