Outside of a reservation mix-up which was straightened out quickly (I was one person for 3 nights--not 3 people for 1 or 3 nights) I found this hotel vey satisfactory. If you like walking, many of the downtown sights are just a 10-15 minute walk away--between the Sagrada Familia and Casa Batlio and stops on the Hop On Hop Off buses. While my room was small, it was very quiet being on the back side of the hotel. I had no problem with the plumbing, the shower was very good. Also the staff was very helpful. While the breakfast may be extra, it covers all the buffet basics: cheese and meats for the northern continentals, warm eggs and sausage etc. for the Anglo-Americans, yoghurt and cereal for the more health conscious, etc.
