“Very comfortable...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 2, 2013

It was luxuriusly comfortable!!! Yet, I have to say that it was a bit overpriced, since the organization and service are good, but not top notch. And the swimming pool thing, is kind of an illusion :P

Love the interior of this hotel - both the lobby and the rooms as well as the pool area was amazing! Staff were very helpful and friendly. Great location away from the noisy Las ramblas. Free wireless internet was very fast. Would definitely stay here again! Buffet breakfast was great.

Decent place to stay with average location if you like to walk. Good distance from Passeig de Gracia and Sagrada Familia. Subway locations are all about 10 minutes walk away as well. Not too many restaurants around to eat at night. Free wireless internet access was good. There is a good supermarket & food market close by. Food in the hotel is very expensive. Service was OK. Room was fairly small even for two people.

I'm writing this a little late but it occured to me whilst discussing the hotel with my parents and their friends last weekend that I had not written a review of this great hotel where I stayed with my husband, sister-in-law and brother-in-law back in May 2010. The room looked just as in the pictures, modern and stylish and we particularly liked the bathroom as the shower was powerful and a good size. The location was great, not too busy in the inmediate vicinity but plenty closeby. The breakfast was very good and the bar was reasonably priced for early evening drinks. Would definitely recommend in fact we have- we recommended this hotel to my parents and their friends who stopped at this hotel in January 2012. They too enjoyed their stay and had only good things to say when we shared a meal with them last weekend!

The Europark Hotel was excellently situated for exploring Barcelona, within walking distance of La Rambla and most of the tourist attractions. We purchased a T10 card which gave us 10 trips on most public transport,we shared it by handing it to eachother at the barriers. The train straight from the airport is 30mins to Passeig de Gracia which drops you within a few minutes walk of the hotel. The hotel was clean and comfortable with a great buffet breakfast and friendly staff. We ate in one evening and although the restaurant was quiet we had a lovely meal that was reasonably priced. The free wifi was a huge plus and after fiddling with the TV remote we managed to get a few channels in English aswell. Barcelona is a beautiful city with so much to do, we walked for hours each day and still left parts undiscovered. Highly recommend this hotel and area to stay in. We did find that the exchange rate over there was poor when compared to the UK, the best rate we got was from withdrawing cash from the cashpoints in Barcelona so would recommend taking your bank card or changing up cash before you go.
