“Excellent value for a short city stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 15, 2012

On our third visit to the Europark we were again impressed by this hotel, which provides an excellent base for a few days in Barcelona. We requested and were given a quiet room on a high floor at the rear of the building, which was totally noise-free.
The rooms are modern, well furnished and well maintained with an excellent bathroom with numerous toiletries.
The hotel offers an extended buffet breakfast with a good range of hot and cold food, fruit, juices, breads and cereals. We enjoyed this meal, which set us up for the day. However, if you don’t want a large breakfast, there are numerous local cafes for coffees and pastries.
A minor criticism is that although a kettle was provided in the room, only sachets of fruit-teas were made available. The explanation was that if you want coffee or normal tea, you should use room service. Take your own sachets if you want hot drinks in your room.
The hotel is well located for general tourism, near the Sagrada Familia and an easy 5 minutes from two underground stations. You can walk to most central areas in 10/15 minutes. If you have only hand luggage, travel from the airport is easy. Get the train direct to Passeig de Gracia, then 5 minutes walk along Carrer de Arago to the Europark. Don’t forget to buy a T10 ticket at the airport, which can be used by more than one person. For 9.40 Euro, you get 10 journeys, including to and from the airport. If you buy airport travel tickets separately it will cost you around 3.6 Euro each way per person, so with 2 people, buying a T10 will be much better value even if you don’t use the other 6 trips on the T10.
Finally, we enjoyed the menu del dia at the O Fiadeiro restaurant, located at 334 C Majorca, at its junction with Avinguda Diagonal, about 5 minutes from the Europark. Here you get a three course meal with wine for 9.5 Euro between noon and 4 pm. The restaurant is usually filled with locals which is always a good sign!

We recommend the Europark for a good quality affordable hotel in Barcelona and will return on our next visit to Barcelona..

Room Tip: For a quiet room ask for a high floor at the rear of the hotel.

Located near the subway system, a market , great little cafes for breakfast, all kinds of amenities ( wine store, English speaking travel gent, grocery store), this hotel makes a great base for exploring the city. The rooms are comfortable, clean and decorated with a modern theme. The gaff is very helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay of 5 nights.

Just stayed 3 nights here with my wife. It is a luvely place to stay in Barcelona. maximum 10 minute walk from 'Passieg De Graccie' mainline station (25 minute direct train every 30m mins from T2 at airport). The price is really good. The room was very large for European standards. It had a very large bathroom and a very large bed. Very modern. Internet with printer, so you can check in and print boarding passes (Free internet). Breakfast more than enough and all staff in hotel very helpfull and friendly. The location is a decent walk from the Las Ramblas/Sea front area but it is only couple of minutes from the metro which will get you wherever you want to go quickly. It is very near La Sagrada Familia. It is has a gym and a pool on the roof ( summer use though ). We would definitely stay here again!

The hotel rooms and public areas are in a very good shape. Clean and cozy. Someone keeps track of little details which makes it all very pleasant. All colors are black, white, grey and a bit of beige. All accesories fit this scheme of colors.
Staff is helpful and pleasant. A supermarket is a blok away and another one, open 24hr, is just two blocks away. Passeig Gracia is 4 blocks away (10 minutes of stroll) and within another 8 minutes you are in Catalunya square. A metro station (Girona) is a block away and can be used to go to Catalunya square and to the Rambla which is within 2 stops off Girona station
Breakfast is reach and tasty and Wi-Fi is there for free, inside the rooms as well.
A place to rerurn to.

Room Tip: rooms 702, 712 and alike face the backyard. they are quiet, more spacious than others and have a kee...

We stayed at the Europark at the end of our trip, just before heading back home. It's in a great location; we walked everywhere. Staff was very helpful: gave us a great recommendation for dinner and arranged for our early morning taxi to the airport. (Had coffee and biscuits available in lobby before we left.) Free use of computer and printer in lobby. Comfortable rooms and baths.

Room Tip: We faced the back of the hotel and looked out over many backyards with an interesting view of the ba...
