“Loved This Hotel!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 12, 2012

This hotel was perfect, really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful art deco style, really clean, staff were helpful and polite and the breakfast was fresh and several options available! Our beds were comfortable, room clean and good size. We had the balcony option and really enjoyed this! Close to Las Ramblas and Catalunya Square and literally down the street from Casa Batilllo. We genuinely loved this hotel, you wont regret staying here as its a great base for anyone visiting Barcelona

This was our first trip to Barcelona and we had no problem getting to the hotel from airport via Aerobus and a quick Metro ride. The hotel is well located for tourists since many of the most important sights (Sagarda Familia) are walking distance. Our room was sparkling clean and the comfy robes and slippers were a welcome sight after a long flight. We did not take breakfast here but rather walked to a different coffee/pastry shop each morning and there were many to choose from. Desk staff was helpful and offered to make a dinner reservation for us when I inquired about directions to Gresca (fabulous dinner!!!) and also within walking distance. Easy walk to Pl Catalonya where we caught the hop-on hop off bus tour. Yes, we will stay here again.

Room Tip: We had a room facing the main street so could open the window for view but closed it for nighttime a...

Stayed for 4 nights at the end of August in a superior room at the quieter back of the hotel. Outlook from room was over the back of other appartments which was not great, but then this is a very busy city. Room itself was quiet large although I think we had one of the smaller superior rooms. The bathroom was lovely and modern. The roof pool was nice if you could get a sunbed there.
Breakfast was not included in our room rate so we chose to have a couple of pastries and coffee at 'Moli Vell' each morning which was a couple of blocks away, passing the supermarket on the way for water and daily supplies.
Location was about 20 minutes walk to the top of Las Ramblas and about 20 minutes walk in the opposite direction to the Familia Sagrada. This was OK to start but after 3-4 days was a little too far.
The beach looked very good for a city beach.
Overall a very good hotel although a little too far away from Las Ramblas for us. Originally we tried to book into the Hotel Jazz which is part of the same hotel group but this was fully booked. Hotel Jazz location seemed to be better.

We stayed at the Europark in mid-September 2012 for 4 nights. The hotel is modern with comfortable rooms and bright attractive public areas. It is perhaps the cleanest hotel we have ever stayed in. We had one of the disabled-friendly rooms on the first floor and so had no view, but the room was spacious and well set up for disabled guests, though it would have been better had the bathroom featured a roll-in shower rather than a tub. The hotel has a bar/restaurant open all day until about 10 or 10:30 PM which is incredibly convenient. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast, had afternoon drinks there a few times and dinner the night of our arrival - a godsend after an 18-hour trip and no sleep. The hotel has wifi as well as computers available for guest use. It also has a pool, spa and sundeck on the roof which looked very nice. We enjoyed the Eixample neighborhood which is elegant and quiet, with many excellent restaurants and the Sagrada Familia and other Gaudi buildings within walking distance. The Old Town was an easy cab ride away. We very much enjoyed our stay at the Europark and highly recommend it.

We stayed at Hotel EuroPark in late September 2012 and thoroughly enjoyed it! The hotel was clean and is conveniently located only 2 blocks away from the nearest metro stop. The hotel staff were helpful when we had questions and even offered advice about local events that we might want to consider. We hope to get back to Barcelona and will definitely stay at EuroPark again!

Stayed in Europark Hotel last month on Nov 6, 2012 which is 2 days before our cruise for 12 days and stayed again for 2 more days on our return.
This hotel is about 20m taxi from the airport costing about Eu30 and about 15 from the cruise terminal costing about Eu15 each way.
Strategically located in the heart of Barcelona but in the quiet side but still close to the action.
Arago is the street where it's located which is about 15 m walk to Familia Sagrada if you head north east and 15m to La Rambla if you feel like partying to the hours of dawn.
There is a Caprabo or a grocery with a wet market connected to it just a block away which my wife and I found very helpful to get our daily supply of bottled water, detergent soap for the cruise, cooked white rice with chorizo de bilbao and assortments of hams and salami on the wet maket, fruiteria and small ready to go just point and order restaurants inside the caprabo building.
Wifi is free and fast and they have a pc with printer on the first floor you can use. The elevator though is tiny but very efficient.
We stayed by the 8th floor which is also the swimming pool area but failed to use the pool since the water is not heated and felt a little chilly on the days we were there. But none the less, the pool area is very cozy and clean with a decent view of the busy street down Arago on the front and the rooftops of Catalan apartments on the back.
Staff are friendly and most have very good command of English language. One of them helped us print a travel document which we were missing for our tour the following day and it was about 2 am when we found out it was missing yet the front desk guy never showed any attitude despite the late hour.
Another front desk personnel named Martha was very attentive and sincere with all the guests that she entertains.
Overall, our stay at Europark was very pleasant. The Ikea looking design with black and white motiff is not typical of our taste yet we find appropriate for the design of the building.
We will definitely recommend this hotel and we are hoping to return again to Barcelona soon and would not hesitate in checking in to Europark once more.

Room Tip: If you want a quiet room, stay at 804 or 803 which is at the back of the building away from the hust...

The hotel was well appointed, very clean, lots of shelves for storage in the washroom (which had a large shower). As we did not have a laptop with us, it was very convenient to have the business centres with computers and printer. We made use of it to get advance tickets and keep in touch with home. I loved having use of the computers.
