I stayed at this hotel for one night prior to a cruise. I booked it through Expedia and it cost Can$91.48 per night for single occupancy in a double room. Total cost with taxes etc was Can$101.31.
Check in was very quick and efficient. I just showed the receptionist my Expedia confirmation. He took a photocopy of my passport and handed me my room key. Hotel and my room was spotless. I had Room 118 on the second floor. View from the window was of the Pizza Hut across the street. Room was quiet. There is a safe in the closet (combination lock).
Hotel is close to the Parallel subway station (L3 line) and is about a 10-15 minute walk to the Rambla.
I took the train from the airport (cost E2.40) to Barcelona Sants station and then transfered to the subway. Subway ride is E1.20. It's quite a long walk for the transfer so it may be better to transfer at Placa Catalunya.
For the cruise, I took the subway one stop south and then took the port shuttle bus from behind the Tourist Booth close to the Christopher Columbus monument (at the bottom of La Rambla). Cost was E1.50.
Hotel offers a buffet breakfast. It looked nice but I did not try it.
There is free internet access using the computer in the lobby.
Receptionist always remembered my room number when I picked up my room key and was always very friendly and helpful.
This is a nice clean and cheap hotel and is fine for a couple of nights. However, it is not very Spanish. There is nothing in the hotel or in the room to make it look even remotely Spanish. Everything was very bland and uninteresting. You could have hung the painting upside down and nobody would notice. KFC and Pizza Hut are right next door.
Would I stay there again? Well, the price was excellent and it was clean, safe and convenient. If I was staying in Barcelona for a week, I would probably look elsewhere.
