I took my boyfriend to Barcelona for his birthday this February. When we arrived we were very pleased with the hotel. From the outside it looks very modern and this continued inside. Reception were friendly and were always happy to help. Our room was on the 8th floor and had a magnificent view over Barcelona. The room itself was perfect, it was very clean and modern and a great size - the bed was huge. There is a metro just outside the hotel and La Rambla is just a 5-10 minute walk from the hotel however, it is down a back road which is quite lit up but even so I wouldn't recommend walking there on your own just to be safe. I would definitely recommend this hotel, it was good value for money and definitely worth its 4 stars.

Barcelona was lovely and I would highly recommend visiting the fountains at the Olympic Village on a Friday or Saturday night and I would also recommend using the tour buses which stop at all the main tourist attractions and save a lot of leg ache!!

Stayed at this hotel for our 1st year anniversary. We choose it because of the reviews from this website. The hotel was very very nice, the staff are excellent. It is a very modem hotel in a good loctaion. We mailed the hotel and asked for a nice room, which they gave us with a brillinat view.

We have just come back from Barcelona and were very pleased with the hotel. We booked through Expedia back in December and had no problems with our booking. The hotel is modern, clean and right next to the metro. The staff were really friendly and helpful. If you are looking to be slightly away from the action and willing to travel 2 stops on the metro then I would recommend staying here. I would definitely stay here again.

Took my girlfriend there in December, slight problem when we got there in that there was no room ready so we had to wait for about 40 mins. Doesnt sound a long time but after a flight, a coach journey and cab to the hotel it was a touch annoying but once we got our room it was fine. Large room, huge bed (!) and a very good view.

Bear in mind that breakfast is not included but is very nice. Try and get a room high up. We had no problems with noise.

There is a swimming pool but its not very big.

Wasnt too impressed with dinner but thats probably my English taste buds!

This probably sounds too critical and i did enjoy my stay.

Lonely travellers should be wary of cutting through the back streets from the Ramblas back to the hotel.
