I traveled with my husband while he was on a business the first week of April. This is a nice, small hotel just blocks from great shopping, restaurants, cafes, sightseeing, etc. Arriving early morning, we had to wait briefly for a room in the lobby. They offered espresso/cappuccino and to store our luggage while we waited. Feeling a little green from a turbulent flight, I curled up on their couches in the small/trendy lobby and closed my eyes. Room was ready by 10am - time for a long nap. They upgraded us to a larger king room that faced the corner of the street. Overall room was very nice and bathroom just slightly tired, but nothing that couldn't be overlooked. Front desk help was very helpful with maps, banks, ATMs, discount tickets for Barcelona Bus Turistic. My husband loves the slightly overpriced full buffet breakfast for the Spanish ham and rolls (they also offer a continental breakfast). I did not eat breakfast, but staff was very nice about providing me with hot water for my own tea bags. Great service in the restaurant every morning. Small pool/terrace area with great views of the city. Many people were enjoying the 70 degree late afternoon with a cocktail, book, etc. Only downside is they do not have air conditioning in early April and there is lots of street noise very late into the night if you open your window. Would definitely stay here again.
Street side rooms have great views of city and city life - can be noisy though.
