“Pricey for what it offers”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 6, 2014

It's more like a 3 star hotel than 4.

Internet (Wi-Fi) was extremely unreliable.

Quite noisy at nights & early in the mornings.

Location right next to metro station but felt a little "dodgy".

Receptionists can't really speak English (though that wasn't a problem for us).

Beds comfortable, room clean.

Also, they're quite stingy when it comes to renewing used shower gel & tea/coffee.

This hotel was perfect for our tour of Barcelona. It had easy access to the subway system and front desk was extremely helpful with our group. Out students were treated like honored guests, not just another American tour group. Rooms were deluxe compared to other European tour accommodations.

We stayed 2 nights in this hotel, but it was nice place to stay - just 2-3 min from Clot metro station. Staff was polite and attentive, always smiling!!
Even room wasnt big, but cozy with nice comfy bed, bathroom with hot water and AC.
Breakfast was fine, but just near hotel there are some small cafes if you want to have snack!
On the roof top was a pool, not for swimming but to refresh yourself after hot day in Barca!
Its nice place if you like to sleep well and go around the city.

We had 20 students traveling to Spain and one of the important things for us was for the kids to be able to communicate back home w/o it costing a fortune; using services like Skype or Viber.
When the kids checked in and requested the detail for WiFi, they were told that it wasn't available, even though their website and booking agent advertises it.

Disappointed that the room allocated looked nothing like the ones advertised on the LCH booking site, much older looking and smaller.
The Hotel is well located for using the Metro (just round the corner) and getting around Barcelona is easy on the Metro. T10 tickets a great find-(can use them on the train to & from the airport as well as the Metro) E10.30 for 10 journeys.
Lots of small snack bars nearby but not many restaurants.

We booked a 3 nights stay in the hotel. Check in took close to 30 minutes. Initially there was only 1 person at the counter and then when the other lady came it took quite a lot of time to check in. They did offer a free champagne for the night which was good. But the champagne itself was not nice. Its a no big deal since it was free anyways.

The room itself was small. The place where the TV is placed is so close to the bed that once side of the bed has to squeeze to get in and out. The bathroom was clean and the shower was great, but there was no exhaust it seems since it got really steamy inside.

The bed was a little uncomfortable. Both me and my partner had a bad back. I asked for a disposable razer and iron box. Both the person at the reception and the lady who came to give was rude. They did not give the ironbox but instead a laundry bag and when i asked the lady about the iron box she just shrugged.

We went downstairs at 10.30 to have dinner but they said that the kitchen was closed at the snack bar, but nobody mentioned about a restaurant on the first floor. We are still not sure if there is one, but there were posters on the lift about the restaurant.

There is nothing around to have a bite, so be careful when you book the room. Recommendation is to book a hotel in the city center.

Wifi was a pain since you have to connect with the username and password everytime the phone gets locked.

Went for a weekend ( 2 nights) for shopping and sightseeing. Travelled alone and had no trouble finding hotel get the bus from the Airport and the red line right to the door.
I used the Metro to get to Ramblas again door to destination other than that I walked everywhere so take comfy shoes cos you can wander for hours .
