Take a leisurely stroll through this neighbourhood and admire the Catalan Modernist style (Art Nouveau) buildings by architects such as Antoni Gaudí, Domènech i Montaner and Puig i Cadafalch, to name just a few. “Great tour with a great guide”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 21, 2013

We went on a few walks with Dani during our stay in Bcn and we can really recommend him. Speaks great English, knows a lot of historic and political facts and stories so he's more than capable to make the walk very interesting an fun!

“Gaudi Gaudi Gaudi Gaudi”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 9, 2013

So I went and saw Casa Ballto and fell in love. After doing the free tour with Sandeman's, I decided another fantastic tour wouldn't hurt ;) The Modernism tour with Helen was wonderful. She was down to earth and so knowledgeable. Adding in bits of humor, while still being very thorough, I learned so much. Breaking down the fact that there are three key things you can look for in modernist work made it very understandable and easy to follow along. Ending at Sagrada was like a vat of the best icing you have ever had on a monstrous cake! This is a must see! Pay the money! P.s. buy a ticket for the metro before the tour, pay the extra money to get the audio for Sagrada la Familia. Ask for Helen!

“Again, why aren't the tourist shop tours rated yet?”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 10, 2012

We took this tour with Danny, who was funny and very knowledegeable about Catalan history and modernista. It starts at 6pm in the summer, which is good and bad. It's good because it's less hot. It's bad because you've already walked around all day. We had a group of about 25 and at times we wished the guide would walk slower, but we could always hear him and since he was so thorough, there was hardly a need to ask questions. Its very well done and it was also nice to learn about people other than Gaudi.
