“Great quality food, reasonable prices, relaxed setting”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 24, 2012 via mobile

We ate here during our last night in Barcelona and were seriously impressed. Certainly the best hamburgers we've tasted in a long while. It's also well worth saving some space for dessert: the cheesecake was perfectly light and creamy and our friend was raving about the brownie. As a bonus the price was very reasonable considering the quality.

“Causy Bistro with nice food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 24, 2012

Their menu includes limited number of items, but you will surely find something you like! In my opinion it was reasonably priced, the burgers and BBQ ribs were delicious! Alcoholic drinks are expensive though, but it is like that everywhere in Barcelona. The kitchen opens after 8,30 pm and everytime we passed by the place it was packed from the early evening hours on. Either make a reservation or be there around 8 ,00 pm for drinks only. Desserts are a MUST! Amazing NY cheesecake and the best brownie I had in a long time! The waiters speak very little English, so you rather have to point at the things you want from the card. Causy place if you would like to grab something with friends and have a good chat afterwards.

“Watch out for the cocktails!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 6, 2012

Excellent food, but slightly expensive - and the cocktails, G&Ts, etc, definitely brought the price up higher, so be careful. Kitchen doesn't open until 8.30 and on the Friday of our stay was booked out.

“Disappointing”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed March 10, 2012

Heard good reviews about this Bistro but we didn't find this the case on our visit.
Firstly there were four if us dining and had a table booked for 9 pm, a waitress came to us after about 10 mins to take our order , we ordered drinks and food and as she didn't write anything down didn't hold out much hope, sadly we were right as three of the drinks were wrong, the waitress changed one of them and said she would change the other when it was half drunk(how odd)
We ordered a platter to share and when that arrived we were told the chicken fingers would follow which they did eventually, however we had finished the platter before we got them. .
Three of us ordered the steak for main and one the steak pie which came as meatballs and spaghetti so had to be changed, in the meantime we had all finished our main by the time the replacement came.. Oh and the Chips we ordered to accompany our steak never arrived.and the vegetable( 1 carrot 1asparagus and 1 floret of broccoli) were all stone cold.
our advice would be waitress with short memory should use note pad

“Heaven!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 18, 2012

We decided to go to this restaurant after finding it very near to our hotel. We arrived just before 8 and were told that the restaurant didn't open until 8.30 but the bar next door owned by the same people was open for cocktails and drinks so opted to have a drink there.

The bar staff were expert cocktail mixers and made us some super strong but delicious moijitos, we were also brought some nuts and enjoyed taking in the atmosphere of the bar which had a really cool deco, sort of old fashioned tea room meet modern bar. We asked the bar staff if they could make sure we got a table next door and the manager came through and confirmed bringing us into the restaurant without having to go back outside.

Now onto the most important part of this review - the food. My boyfriend and I both ordered the steak which boasted to be the 'best steak in town'...this is an understatement I can assure you as the steak was heavenly, divine and cooked perfectly! The best steak in the world!! We had fries and mac and cheese on the side which were also super tasty! We followed up the amazing meal with an equally stunning dessert - the New York cheesecake is to die for, creamy and not too sweet - perfection! Both my boyfriend and I said this was the best meal we had ever had and we drifted back to our hotel on a high, content that we could die happy or least leave Barcelona and recommend this place to everyone we know!
