“Great Spot for Azurgrana”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 31, 2012

Returning To Barcelona is always so wonderful......... it is one of our most favourite cities along with Tokyo. This time my wife and I decided to stay close to the Camp Nou which is only a 20 minute walk from this hotel and it was a great stay.
The front desk staff were very very good on arrival and while we checked in the young man at the desk conversed in 3 languages...... French, English & Spanish of course and made us feel very welcome. Our room was fresh (must have been newly upgraded) modern and roomy. My wife and I were completing our move to Spain so we had a lot of bags and still our room had plenty of room. This hote is in a very residential neighbourhood which is very nice, plenty of places to eat, small stores for day to day shopping and very close to transportation.
On our first night we checked with the front desk for good places to eat and were advised of a couple of places one of which is across the street from the hotel. No English spoken but still we had great food, great drink, and a great experience all at very reasonable prices.
We enjoyed this stay so much that when we travel up from the Costa Blanca for a football game this hotel will be our place of choice.
This is not a touristy area so you get a feel and taste of Spanish life in Barcelona. There are many area's like this in Barcelona but for us we picked this one because of football. When you come to Barcelona look for these areas away from the tourist spots better prices for everything, great experiences and make sure that your place of choice is close to Metro for ease of travel.
Come to Barcelona and enjoy at NH Les Corts !

Room Tip: We chose higher floor, with queen bed, at the front of the hotel was a great spot.

I stayed here for 3 night with my mother. I didn't have a lot of expectations but I really have to say that it was a good hotel. The rooms weren't very big but you had enough space to walk around. Everything was clean. The airco worked very good.
We didn't take breakfast in the hotel because it was quit expensive and there are a lot of breakfast bars in the neighbourhoud.
You have to walk 10 minutes to get to the metro stop.
From the hotel it was a 20 minutes walk to the station Camp Nou.

Very clean and I appreciated the conditioner in the bathroom. By the time I got to Barcelona this American was running low on hair supplies. Rooms were very big but I wish we had a double bed. Twin beds aren't too comfortable and the sheets were rough. This was the end of our trip so we were pretty tired and liked to sleep in. We couldn't find a "do not disturb" sign so the maids knocked on the door every morning. I do appreciate the space in the room.

Business visit with colleagues, everywhere else booked up so had no other choice but to stay here. Well the room was only €99 per night, so I guess that's what value you're getting. Handy for train station and business area, but the rest is average. Tired, dated building lacking in character. Rooms ok, service impersonal, breakfast average. Average average! Won't be returning.

The rooms in this hotel were typical for Europe. There were two twin beds pushed together. The sheets were ok. The room was clean and kept clean. The main problem was cheapness and disorganization. You can get free wi-fi in the lobby, but you have to enter a 10 digit code every 30 mins and they dole out the codes from the front desk in limited quantities. There is also very little space in the lobby/breakfast room for any type of private conversation. You can get wi-fi in the rooms at a very high rate per day.
My friends phone and safe were broken and they refused to fix them. Our keys kept needing to be reset.
The breakfast was fine, but it is not actually included with the room, it is extra and is 10 E for one person, 16.50 for the second- we discovered. There were also issues with payment even though it had been taken care of with a credit card before we got there.
I liked the neighborhood bc it was near a good mall, it was quiet, near the train, and there were some nice places to eat. I was there for work, but if you are coming on vacation and want to be closer to fun stuff, don't stay here.
Also no pool, no exercise room.

NH Les Corts in general is a pleasant hotel. Not in the centre but the metro stop is not far a way. My biggest problem was checkout and being charged the second time for the room. I booked this hotel on priceline, however, strangly enough the hotel did not have any documentation conforming this. The hotel later acknowledged the mistake and refunded the money but, of course, I did loose some money on exchange rate. Why in the hell I should pay for mistakes made by others?
So just a word of caution, if you have booked and paid for your hotel, take an extra print out to prove it.
