“Very good or Camp Nou… but not the best as hotel”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 6, 2013

If You need to go to the Camp Nou, I am sure this is the best solution, first You could arrive by metro at les Corts and than 5 minutes walk and You are in the hotel ( very good also for going around Barcelona); than the entrance of the Camp Nou is in front of the Hotel…. better that this is difficult to find!!!

But concerning the hotel, I am not very satisfied: Reception not very helpful and staff is not too helpful if you need sometimes they reply in a strange way!!

My room was very small , even tought , clean . Isolation from other rooms not the best.

For the price I pay for a standard room ( and I am sure they gave me a single one) I think You can early find better.

Breakfast was very good.

At the end I will stay here again If I need to go to the camp you, but trying to book in advance in order to find a good rate… otherwise not.

good day to all.
it is not the first time we come to this hotel. but this time, it is too much for note leaving a review: the room pricte 100 eur per night between from thursday to sunday. which i think it is much too much for what they offer (there are hotels around: princesa sophia 5* - but oldish a 100eur and the new hilton on the diagonal at 120 eur.

the staff is not too helpful and does not bother to greet you. if you greet, sometimes they do reply, but many times they do not. why would they? :)

key stopped working on the second day, as they forgot to encode it for 3 days (both keys stopped working at the same time) this shows again their attention to detail, i mean..their lack of attention. you do down, not even a measly ¨i am sorry¨nothing, be grateful that we make the key for you again and stop bothering us.

the internet: the smartest idea ever...i mean the most stupid idea ever: it works with password, which is normal. but it logs you out every 10 minutes and then you have to reconnect (you have to try several times, not just once) then again...do it fast..as in 10 minutes it kicks you out again.
everyday you have to get from reception a paper with the user and password and if you have a laptop and mobile, you need two papers so you can surf for 10 minutes. it is crazy. in a 4* this cannot be. i do not care how they should solve it (although i work in hotel industry and i know how it oculd be solved, but this is not my problem).

shades: were not working properly. i could not pull them up more than half way.

pillows: i ask the reception at 10pm for an extra pillow. of course i had to go down for it, but this was not such a pr, i could understand. but to be given a pillow without a case, man..this is disgusting.

beds: the mattress was leaning on one side. so for being a new room, this is not ok. the beds are moving all around the room, they are the mobile type. they have stops, but of course, the housekeepeing personnel does not put the stops (as it makes their work more difficult when they clean) so to the hell with the clients, who cares that they are floating around the room. if you snore a bit ...you will surely move around the room... :)

ah..the tv...: the room is decent size, very decent. the tvs is 19 inches wide, so they should give you binoculars if u want to see smth. who was the great person who was responsible for buying these tvs...this person should get a raise and be fired.

i am complaining about these things as it is a 4* and costs 100 eur per night so this is unacceptable. if it were a 2* and 50 eur..i would say thank you and put a 5 out of 5.

thank you all.

Room Tip: another hotel:)

It was a very nice and clean hotel in our first night from the Spain vacation.
We had tickets for a Barca game and we walk 5 minutes to the stadium.
They do not reserve a parking but I think there are plenty of places.
The breakfast was very good.

The hotel its self was clean and the room was spacious. We had breakfasts included and these were very nice with hot food available to order and the usual selection of breads meats cheeses fruit and pastries.
The hotel is right next door to the football ground but is a little bit away from the centre. There I'd a metro station nearby and the metro is efficient. There is a small poolvon the roof but it rained when we were there (in August) and we had no time anyway with do much to see and do in the city. The parrots were a surprise.

We used this hotel as our base for a week long family trip to Barcelona and it was perfect. A short walk gets you to the metro line where you can get into the centre in 10 mins. The Camp Nou is a stone's throw from the hotel. Local restaurants offer good quality, well priced food. The rooms we had were beautiful-spacious, comfortable and clean. The pool was a welcome respite from the sun, but as with all roof top pools, it is only small and space goes quickly-but if you want a holiday by a pool, don't go on a city break! The staff on reception could not have been more helpful. We have stayed in 5 star hotels around the world and not enjoyed the experience as much as we did here!

This NH Rallye" in Barcelona was a cosy Place to stay. for this short Trip, we did went there for 2 Nights and we can say, that it is a good hotel with a nice and friendly Customerservice there. Room was clean and good outfitted. Not far away from Hotel, have been few very good and typical Restaurants. They did had a good NH Standard and we did like it there!

This place is not in the city center but the metro will take you there easily. It's clean and comfortable with small restaurants and a grocery store near by. The sitting area and the pool on the upper floor are very nice, we sat there drinking wine and looking at the city lights at night. We had a breakfast deal and oh boy was it worth it. So much to choose from, from pasteries to healthier options, you can even get a fresh omelett made while you're there.

Overall a good choice, and if you're going to see a Barcelona game Camp Nou is a couple of minutes walk away.

PS: You have to ask for the WiFI code at the desk, not just sign in 'cause then there will be a charge.
