We took the Tapas walking tour; our guide was good, and offered some interesting insights into the food and culture of Barcelona. The tapas were mediocre; we had found a number of much better tapas on our own (not very hard to do in Barcelona); we had already done a fair amount of exploring on our own including the the Boqueria market. For those less likely to adventure on their own, this tour might be good. For us it was a little basic in terms of the tapas. However, we got a good tour of the various neighborhoods, and learned some new information, and met some interesting people on our tour. Our guide also helped direct us to find good paella for our next venture the following day. It would have been helpful to have a list and map of some of the shops and highlights along the way - we tried to find a few the following day without a lot of success. We moved quite quickly on the tour and the city was quite crowded being Easter weekend, so you had to really pay attention to stay with the group.
