“dont ask for anything with cheese”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 29, 2013

We had a very nice meal here on the first night we were in barcelona. The second time we went was because we were walking past but our meal was disappointing. The philly cheesesteak sandwhich I ordered was dry and contained no cheese. I would have complained but the waiter was busy talking to his friends. On our last day we had walked ourselves silly and couldnt go any further. We stopped for lunch. We each ordered a cheese and ham sandwich of which neither contained cheese. It was busy so couldnt get the waiters attention. Feel that for seven euros we should have got what we ordered. Its a nice place to people watch and the beer is cold but the food is lacking.

“Excellent Food!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2013

We found this place by doing the cooking class through Travel Bar. I can't really rave about that as you don't actually get to cook the paella (but it tastes amazing) and the room out the back where it is is stuffy and nothing to look at but i can highly recommend sitting outside and ordering the tapas and sangria! We had the Tapas plate (15euro) and a jug of sangria (13euro) twice in one day it was so good. Oh and we had the pie the next day with the Calamari and the Potatoes Bravos - our favourite food of the trip!
The waiters are always flat out busy but very nice!

“Bad service and the food is nothing special”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 25, 2013

After our walking tour we stopped here with our guide. As we were extremely hungry we decided to stay, have some tapas and share a platter. Although the food portions are big, the taste is ordinary.

Through the walking tour we had booked as well a cooking class. To our big surprise we ended up at this place again. We thought we would have an authentic Spanish experience. Instead we got to eat tapas in a pub with blazing rock music and staff who were extremely unfriendly. I spoke to the manager who apologized for her staff saying it was the girl's first day on the job. That's no excuse to be rude to your staff!

“Nothing special”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 1, 2013 via mobile

Me and my girlfriend just passed by and it seemed alright. I ordered an "Aussie's best burger" (8.95€) and my gf ordered "Japan Burger" (8,95€). The food was good. A lot of food. Big hamburgers and a lot of fries and some salad. The place in general was okay. An alright atmosphere. But the toilets were disgusting. It went from 4/5 to 3/5 just because of the toilets.

“nice, service and cheap drinks”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 31, 2013

We went there luckily yesterday, just walking at the port. the sign "happy hour from 5-8 - cocktails 5€" got our attention.
We just wanted to drink there, but as we talked to the service guy we decided to go for the mixed plate. 15€ for various tapas that could easily satisfy us both. absolutely worth visiting.
