“exept the view not much to see”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed October 6, 2012

We went here with the funicular and were a little surprised with the price (7,5 € per person). At the top you have an old attraction parc which is also expensive. The only thing that was exciting was the view over Barcelona, although you can also see most of this skyline from Parc Guell. For me this was a waste of time as there are lots of other super things to see in this magical city.

“A lovely surprise!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 5, 2012

The first time I went to Barcelona I didn’t go to the Tibidabo mountain, but last time I decided to give it a go to see something different. I wasn’t expecting much but I have to say that I’m really glad I did go – it’s a wonderful place with stunning views.
It’s a lovely trip to get there if you take the blue old tram and the funicular, although a bit expensive it’s really suggestive.
Up there you’ll find an amusement park with the old still original rides, but the main thing to visit is the magnificent Sacred Heart Church. The entrance is free. Remember to walk up to the Christ at the top, because that’s where you can get breath-taking views!

“Amazing view”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 2, 2012

You have to go to Tibidabo, just for the view. You have to reach, as I remember, the Place Kennedy and afterwards there is the obvious choice of the "Blau tram", which is an old tram that goes to the funicular. The ticket is 3 euros, really expensive, and the tram is really slow. There is another option, bus 196, with the regular ticket (or 2 euros on board) that makes the same route in less than half the time and of course you can go on foot (10'-15'). The return ticket for the funicular is 7.5 euros but it really worth going to the top. I suppose that there is a way to climb to the top, but I can't estimate the time, maybe 30'-40'. After reaching Tibidabo you will be facing a breathtaking view. There is also an amusement park, if you have children, but nothing really special. I think that it is a must see place, but you have to spend some time in order to visit it.

“Unbelieviable view from Sagrat Gor”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 27, 2012

Amusement park is old-fashioned but honestly speaking those old attractions have something from the heart and soul comparing to modern attractions. Hard to write emotions on paper but you will feel that when being there. And don't forget to get up to the Christ using lift in Sagrad Gor Church. You'll never forget that feeling.
