“Dark bar in the Gothic Quarter”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 28, 2014

This dark bar in the old city perfectly matches with the Medieval wall right at the corner. You feel like you are back to the Middle Age time and the atmosphear is very nice. We had Mexican fajitas, Nachos and red wine. The price was correct and the service too. I would go back.

“Cozy place for a whine and snacks”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 1, 2013

I always bring visitors to this place for a bottle of Catalan wine & snacks (charcuterie, guacamole, humus, cheese platter), and it never fails in achieving that "Barrio Gótico" sensation that captivates tourists. Most of their furniture has that tree trunk look and the last time I went they had just replaced some of their older tables. Definitely recommended, I've been a moderately frequent client since 2008.

“I had a great time here!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 2, 2013

A little off the beaten path (though not that far from La Rambla), but well worth finding. Chatted with Lee, the owner, and Carmen, a server, both from Canada. Good food, a mix of tapas and TexMex, and excellent margaritas. About ten, musicians started to arrive. There was a guy with a guitar from Tennessee, some Spanish guys, a guy from Argentina, a guy from Oregon. A couple from Oslo came in, and everybody chatted. Then the music cranked up, with different people joining in, improvising, kind of a jam session. It was like everybody knew each other. And the place itself is cool, like a big cave. If you're in Barcelona, you really must check this place out.

“Great find!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 15, 2013

We were taken to Andu with some friends who live in Barcelona, and the wine and atmosphere here was fantastic. Based on the other reviews it's a shame we didn't have time to try the food but will have to next time.
