Owner description: Casa Mila, popularly known as La Pedrera, is a most unusual building, constructed between 1906 and 1912 by the architect Antoni Gaudí (1852–1926) and declared UNESCO World Heritage in 1984. Today it is the headquarters of Fundació Catalunya La Pedrera and houses a cultural centre that is a reference point in Barcelona for the range of activities it organises and the different spaces for exhibitions and other public uses it contains. A visit to La Pedrera, landmark building and container, gives us a better understanding and appreciation of architecture and transports us to the period when Antoni Gaudí lived.

“A must place to go”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 6, 2012

like the place very much: the roof, explains about Gaudi's works, the restoration of the flat, the short movie - everything
hate - very expensive to go in.

“Magnificent building”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 6, 2012

We spent a few hours in La Pedrera, enjoying all its passages and corners. The roof itself is a great delight.

“Yet another unique Barcelona building.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 5, 2012

This is another must see building while visiting Barcelona. There is quite a lot to see inside and the tour culminates with a visit to the roof and "the" chimney pots. Another architecturally important building. A visit is highly recommended.

“The outside and courtyard is amazing”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 5, 2012

The outside and courtyard is amazing but the apartment leaves much to be desired. Takes about 2 hours.

“The roof teracce is unique,no audioguide needed”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 5, 2012 via mobile

The tour begins on the roof and continous on the lower floors;ends on the ground floor. The chimneys and the roof are amazing;but the interior is not so special.the audio guide is not necessary at all, info is written in English/Spanish.At the Palau Guell the entrance fee is only 10€,here you pay much more but the averall experience is not that special. If you are short on time or at lower budget,I recommend you to visit the Palau Guell and/or Casa Battlo!
