It is an impressive undertaking, of that there is no doubt but I think to charge 8 euros to see a building site on the inside of the cathedral is a bit fresh.

From the outside it is impressive. The new passion fascade is very modern. The nativity fascade is wonderful but worryingly looking weather/pollution worn.

The museum is interesting but that is about it.

When it is finished it will be a wonderful building but it is not likely to be in my lifetime. I reckon the next generation will be paying to see scaffolding too.......

Better off going to York and seeing the Minster. It is bigger and more impressive......and it is finished......

The Sagrada Familia is cool -- from the outside. We unfortunately paid 9 Euros each to go inside. There we saw only scaffolding, dust and construction workers.

I definitely recommend going to have a look. Take some pictures from the outside, then move on.

Probably the most amazing building you'll ever see. Because it's such an incredible project, there's a lot of construction still going on, but it doesn't take away any of the majesty of the building itself. The giant towers look like they're melting. If you go inside, go at a non peak time and head up the towers. The starways are amazing, and the view of Barcelona is unbeatable.

If anything, go to the parks beside the Sagrada and just sit and look at it. It's a view you'll remember for the rest of your life.

I have been to dozens of churches all over Spain, and De La Sagrada Familia is definitely among my favorites. If you like classical architectural styles you might not like it. It is over the top, it is conspicuous, it is unforgettable! I love Gaudi, I think he makes Spain one of a kind, and De La Sagrada Familia is a prime example of that.

The lines are long, so take pictures of the outside of the chapel and just enjoy the view and take it all in while you wait. (There is a discount for students with international student IDs.) Once you are inside, I advise you take the stairs to the top. The view from above is so worth it! There is a little museum downstairs, which is also pretty interesting. So if you have a few extra minutes on the way out, check it out.

Definitely do not miss this attraction!
