“Amazing but not my favorite site”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 30, 2012

This church is truly amazing - but it's not our favorite site designed by Gaudi. The exterior for us was the best and most amazing part of this building. The inside seems so new in comparison to the exterior.

“Spectacular!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 30, 2012

This is a very overwhelmingly beautiful church. It is huge and grand. The towers are amazing, the interior even more so.

“Nickel and dime”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 30, 2012

The church by itself was pretty amazing and having the opportunity to see it while still under construction was definetely a plus. I guess you can blame no one for the 45 minutes line outside or the 2 hrs waiting to see the towers (which we didn't). Problem is that the place misses any mystical area, and the 15 Euros fee just for entrance is way too much to simply step into a church unless Sister Act is singing there

“Fantastic - unique”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 30, 2012

Where do you find a cathedral that is being built in our lifetime??? In Barcelona, Spain. And the most unique one at that, designed by Antonio Gaudí. Strange fluid almost botanic designs. Already under construction for a hundred years, and to be finished within a couple more. Outside is the most fantastic - and free - but don't hesitate to go in if you have the time (for queueing) and the money. Its history is very interesting, climbing the towers also, but beware if you're afraid of heights!

“Agree that it is a must-see”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 30, 2012

Wasn't sure what to expect. Couldn't get a time online we wanted so we went and stood in line for about 45 minutes on the day after Christmas - not a problem because the sun was shining. We spent about 3 hours, used the audio tour and read all the signs. Quite impressive and beautiful.
