“Nice to stop by, but don't know what's the fuss about”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 7, 2013

The market is very colorful with lots of fresh fruits (you have shakes and cut fruit for tourists), chocolate, meat, cheese and other ready dishes.

A nice place to stop by for a little while, but a bit too touristic and not what I consider to be "The most amazing market in the world".

“Wonderful day out at the market”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 6, 2013

I always find it interesting to go to local markets, to see what the locals are eating at home. This also has fantastic tapas stalls that you can sample a bit of Spain. Definitely worth a visit

“Noisy, touristic, overpriced, most of the vendors were really rude!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed November 30, 2013

Yes, the market was colorful but the food was overpriced.
In my opinion the vendors have had enough of the tourists and some of them were rude!
Even as an Istanbulite, the Spice Bazaar is most interesting to me!

“Vegeterian take away”

Organic Barcelona. Great fresh food at the end of the market. Not expensive, and with a variety of vegetables and cooked food.

“Abundance is this market”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 27, 2013

I make a point of going to markets I love them. This one is up there in the top 3. Massive number of stalls with a stunning standard of presentation. A huge range of products...if unicorn was on the menu it'd be sold here. We bought fruit, veg and fish, bread, cheese, Jamon and olives. We also stopped and had lunch at a bar diner there. Sardines, bread, a lamb stew and wine it was inexpensive. It was a great time. Buy what you want or just revel in the sights and meals of abundant food.
