“Las Ramblas”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 17, 2013

Lovely little squares just of the side streets of las Ramblas to explore, stop for lunch or people watch. Also quaint little shops to pick up some patisseries and local items.

“Definately worth a visit or two”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 17, 2013

Was apprehensive what to expect after reading the reviews on here but can honestly say was great and defiantely worth visiting. Plenty of artists, street acts, performers etc throughout the day and night. THERE WAS PLENTY OF POLICE PRESENT EVERYWHERE SO NOT CONCERN ABOUT PICKPOCKETERS!!!!! A decent food market is just off Las Ramblas along wtih several eateries and shops. Even if you don't wish to purchase anything it is worth a visit to take in all the hustle and bustle. It is located around so much as well such as the cathedral, beach, designer shops etc.

“This is just a "must"”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 17, 2013

La Rambla is just a “must” for me every time I visit Barcelona. One can say that it is just a crowded esplanade, and, yes, that what it is, but for me the atmosphere is fantastic. Most of the enormous crowds are tourists, but there are also local people, sellers, artists, beggars, street actors, pickpockets… I just simply like it.

“Exciting, enchanting, exotic and fun”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 15, 2013 via mobile

All the pundits frighten you with pick pocket and thieving stories. To be honest,, you need to be a sensible about personal belonging safety as in any major attraction on the planet. Las Ramblas is exciting and just wonderful. Take a day and start at the top, place de catalynia and walk down to the sea. Enjoy the colourful displays, the bars and dive off down the side roads and jitties and discover hidden Jess of architecture, tapas bars and people. Just great fun.

“Great place!! Full with life!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 15, 2013

Walking thru the Rambla you will see real people from Barcelona! Pastries, ice cream, gelato, a public market, human statues, the sex museum and the wonderful landmarks the gothic quarter has to offer just steps away. This place is a must go to!
