Inexpensive, smart, clean & friendly. But most importantly great pizza's. Although they do other food besides pizza's.

“Good food, nice staff”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 1, 2013

We too ate here twice on our recent visit to Barcelona.

We ate outside and enjoyed all the people watching while eating.

The menu was a bit different to other places I thought. The pasta dishes were very good and I agree with another reviewer, that pudding called Trujillos, is absolutely gorgeous.

“Great food and staff!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 19, 2013 via mobile

We ate at this restaurant twice on our trip to Barcelona.
We dont normally do this but the restaurant was nearby our hotel and we were really happy with our meal the first time.
The pizzas were lovely and so was the pasta (although the pasta portion was a little small).
We asked for a few sides which werent actually available on the menu, the waiter we had was happy to help with this and we got everything we wanted!
On our second visit the waiter remembered us and gave us a little frozen margarita cocktail with the bill, this was a nice littke touch...and tasted delicious :)

“Great Food & Service at Zian”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 8, 2013

This restaurant was a short walk from the Sunotel Central and right beside the Urgell metro stop. It had the menu boards outside when we arrived and the waiters were quick to acknowledge my husband and I and encourage us inside.

There was a lot of traditional spanish dishes available but I did opt for the pizza (around sixteen different flavours to choose from). The food was cooked quickly and the waiters were really polite and warm (also spoke great english). Pizza was delicious - €10.90 for "Tropical" but the piece de resistance was the desserts...absolutely out of this world delicious. I opted for the “Torrijas” which was brioche soaked in milk with egg and fried, served with whipped cream, crème brulee and apple sorbet – well worth the €5.90 I paid for it. Add to that the litre of Sangria we ordered and it was an all round perfect dinner.

The restaurant was quiet when we first arrived but began to fill up as the evening progressed. The surroundings were modern and extremely clean.

I have no doubt that when I revisit Barcelona that I will visit Zian again ... keep a “Torrijas” on stand-by for me!!
