“Great dining experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 17, 2013

Excellent meal that was creative and perfectly cooked, delivered with very friendly and knowledgeable service. Great experience in a restaurant which doesn't seem to have been discovered yet by the masses.

“Fantastic”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 17, 2013

The food was brilliant and the staff were really passionate about what the restaurant had on offer. The tuna with wasabi ice-cream was fantastic and both the cod and red mullet we had for mains were faultless. The food was both innovative and unique and this did not compromise its quality. I simply described the taste of wine we liked and the waiter chose us a really nice bottle that was reasonably priced. The appetisers, breads and glass of cava on the house were all also a great touch. The restaurant doesn’t open until 9pm for dinner but it’s easy enough to find and we didn’t feel unsafe walking back. It cost us 78 euros for 2 starters and 2 mains with a bottle of wine and water. It was definitely worth it! It is a lovely restaurant and one of the better ones I have ever eaten in. Really glad we came across it!

“Is this the best in Barcelona or all of Spain ?”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 17, 2013

We've visited this restaurant after reading reviews in Tripadvisor. This is one of the best dining experience I've had ever, anywhere. From impeccable, personable service to innovative, surprising and delicious food to the great wine; this must be one of the best places to eat in Spain, not only in Barcelona.
A great special evening for me and my other half.
Highly recommended.
Thank you chef and thank you to our waiter....

“One of the best restaurants in all of Spain!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 8, 2013 via mobile

Hands down the best restaurant I've been to in Spain and even the U.S. You can really tell that the chef cares about every little detail that his plate offers, all the way down to the last drizzle of sauce he puts on the plate!

We will definitely be making our way back to Codium before the trip is done!!

“Amazing food and service in Barcelona”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 7, 2013

I recently organized a reunion dinner at Codium. From start to finish it was an outstanding experience. Israel, the host, was amazingly helpful in arranging our menu via email The restaurant is in a quaint and quiet section of Barcelona. The service was impeccable and the food was amazing and varied. Our group menu for 40 euro included a wide variety of shared appetizers, a choice of beef, fish or vegetarian entree as well as dessert and cava. An outstanding experience of the best of Catalonian food and hospitality! I can't wait to return to Barcelona and Codium!
