dinner : the dinner is nice and a good way to meet and know new people
Location : is very nice with the metro few steps away to connect you to the center !

Loved my stay here! Its close to the metro so you can easily get around Barcelona. Staff were AMAZING! And there was FREE dinner every night! Great place if you're on a budget. Free dinner meant everyone bonded and it was easy to make friends. Rooms are a tad small in the 4 person dorm but everything was clean which made it fine. Also there is only one shower and bathroom on each floor, but never had a problem with waiting, sometimes just had to go up or down the stairs. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Having had a very bad experience at the Barcelona 4 Fun Hostel we went to the Barcelona Tourist Office - Las Ramblas -for help. They gave us a list of Hostels and pointed us to a nearby internet cafe. We booked into Hostel One Sants. They have three hostels in Barcelona. When we arrived were were warmly greeted and with sympathy for our previous experience. We had stayed in Barcelona eight times previously - often at Urbany at Clot which is extremely good if rather large and busy. Hostel One is small - it has a family atmosphere. Guests and staff talk freely together. In the evening the staff cook for everyone - for FREE. We love cooking so found the market just next door and the Lidl arounf the corner excellent. We joined in with the cooking. All the tables are pushed together and everyone eats, drinks and talks. Then a guitar appeared and we sang together for the rest of the evening. The staff help create a really wonderful experience for visitors. We hired bikes from the Hostel and toured the city. We shall return. This is a great place to stay.

Room Tip: We had a small shared courtyard of the bedroom 102. Close the fire door if it gets too loud in the...

Fine stay, I would stay here again, close to Sants station so good for quick overnight stay, three floor building, i had a reservation for 6bed but provided us 4bed dorm, breakfast was 2,5EUR and it was worth it, toast bread with jam, cocoa cream, cereals, muffin&croissant and juice/tea/coffee, rooms were small but fine, lockers big enough (bring your own padlock), bathroom&toilet on each floor, wifi @ lobby, 4 comps with net, worked well and staff friendly, recommend

I think that the staff in this hostel were fantastic they really went out of their way to ensure our trip was perfect from the very first second we arrived, we stayed in the hostel for 7 nights for 50 euro each and this is the level of service we received...
-Free vegetarian extremely tasty dinners served at 9 every night (never eaten veggie in my life before) and as much of it as i could consume, being a 22 year old lad... thats alot!
-Someone to bring us out to pubs/clubs til the early hours each morning
-Comfy beds
-Extremely Clean
-Rooftop terrace open nice and late once you werent disrupting the neighbours
-Very close to shops and a metro station(60 second walk)
-Breakfast every morning for 2.50 extra which included chocolate cake on our first day
-Acrobatics as we left on friday night (dont know is this a common thing...:D)
-Free booking of our taxi...

Simply... it felt like they were there to make us happy rather than make money off of us which is something i hadnt experienced before...

Room Tip: The staff are really friendly and our party had booked at different times but they put us all in the...

The staff are very helpful and friendly. They had free dinners every evening, giving the guests an opportunity to form bonds and have fun. The friendly house assistant, Linda, gave us many advice. She particularly informed us of the possible dangers in the city area (beware of pickpockets at the subway stations!), which helped me and my friend a lot during our stay.

Also, 5 minutes walk to subway station and close to Carrefour.

Highly recommended for you!

Chan :)

We had one of the best service ever at this hostel. The staff were very helpful and jovial at all times of the day. They certainly help to perk us up for our trip. Rooms were clean and we had no problems trying to get the hairdryer(which can be a nuisance in some hostels). A true 5 star experience. Thumbs up!

Room Tip: Excellent hostel

Hostel One Sants is not just a hostel. Its a place where youre gonna feel the same comfort and liberty as if you were in your own home, but in Barcelona! And youll get free dinner! We have rooms for two, three, four, and six people. All the rooms are accessible by elevator. Toilets and showers are near every room. We also have free internet access, as well as Wi-Fi for your personal laptop. Theres no curfew, so you can come and go 24 hours per day as you please. We keep the hostel very clean and we can provide you with free lockers, free luggage storage until 12pm, free sheets and blankets, free coffee, tea sugar, salt, oil and more. Theres also towels for 2 and our 8 wash-and-dry laundry service. Breakfast is 2.50 and served from 8.30am until 11.30am. We charge for breakfast so we can afford to run all the free activities instead. What makes us so great? Its the parties and barbecues on the terrace, where you can lay down and enjoy the Mediterranean sun while you relax in the chill-out area or on the sun chairs chatting with the other guests. Its the massive and fully equipped 24hr kitchen where we make dinners all together and also make huge mojitos, sangrias and caipirinhas almost every night. Its the more private common area where you can be loud all night long playing pool, watching a movie or drinking til you pass out. Its an easy place to meet people as we get the guests together to go to the beach or to the park and, at night, we have activities and take you all out to the best bars, pubs, and discos in town. All free of charge! Our staff is a very fun multi-national group who speak English, Spanish, Catalan (of course), Portuguese and a bit of Italian and French, too. We love to make parties with you, tell you all the stories of Barcelona and show you the best spots in town. We offer a wide range of tours and special events throughout Barcelona, as well as discounts to restaurants or even free dinners. Hostel One Sants is an easy 12-minute walk from Sants Station, the main train station in Barcelona. Were also very close to Camp Nou, Baras football stadium, and near Montjuic, Barcelonas largest mountainous park. Just like the Bara is not just a team, Hostel One Sants is not just a hostel, its the perfect place for you to drop your bags in Barna (local slang for Barcelona) and really have a good time. So, we hope to see you soon and receive you with our very refreshing and, at the same time hot Welcome Shot.
