5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 29, 2012

When in Barcelona, dont miss the oportunity to have breakfeast in this place.
They are also open on Sundays. The croisands are the best ever, filled with all the choices... we had the ones all spices with ham and cheese! fresh squeze orange juice and good coffee.
... but all the breads, presentacion and kind atention complete the deal!

“Awesome Bakery/Cafe”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 12, 2012

this was recommended in one of the guide books. great pastries, croissants and breads. Has a few tables to eat at and if weather nice, you can sit outside. Good for a quick breakfast if you like good pastries. staff was also really nice

“Great for sweet or savory palates !”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 12, 2012

We had breakfast here three days in a row. The selection is great, both for sugary pastries and tarts, or fresh breads and sandwiches. The coffee is also very good. The staff were friendly and the cafe has a very local feel to it, with customers clearly coming in as friends and reading newspapers, etc. It was a nice way to start the day without being surrounded by tourists. We came during Semana Santa and they had fresh baked monas (bread with hard boiled, or chocolate eggs nestled inside) that were beautiful.

“awesome bakery with a huge variety”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 5, 2012

Great bakery near Passeig de Gracia with a massive variety of just baked goods - madelines with chocolate, chocolate croissants, beautiful fruit tarts, lots of bocadillos. My favorite is this flatbread with mozzarella balls, prosciutto, and a balsamic vinegar glaze. They make big flatbreads and cut off however much you want - a good portion is only about 2 euro. Very cute ambience with eccentric tiles, mismatched plates, and bakery utensils hanging in the window. Great place for a cafe con leche!

“Breakfast lunch dinner!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 12, 2012

We found Crusto in a guide book and found our way here the first morning we were in Barcelona. But it wasn't our last time! We were at Crusto every morning for a week (plus once for sandwiches for an al fresco dinner!). There is nothing Crusto doesn't do/make and do well! Their breads are unbeatable, equal to the best in Paris; the coffee was equally fabulous. Topping all this off....it was affordable, in fact totally reasonable! Run do not walk to Crusto while in Barcelona! We love it!!!!
